well said and its a great post in which u expressed most of my feelings.

I always thought that people are confused with the difference between actors and characters in the show.

It's been always a fact before the show started that Mayas character is negative even Jennifer wanted to do this character because she has never portrayed negative character.

When comes to Saanjh, i like her character a lot.

I agree with you that she will help arjun always because she keeps Arjuns best interests at heart. Arjun sometimes might feel suffocated with her attention but he indulge her but this equation will be changed drastically with Saanjh's feelings and Arjun's obliviousness.

This show has great potential to explore all the characters equally so i am eager to see how it will unfold further.

About insecurity of Maya...well she got Arjuns love but still is insecure about Saanjh... So tell me what would you do if you were in Maya's place where you are aware your fiancee's bestie who happens to be a woman is actually in love with him & also threatens you that next time if you don't keep your thing safely she might not return it! Would you still feel completely in peace when you see your fiancee with her & leave them alone cuz u r mahaan & secured? Arjun might not know Saanjh loves him but Maya knows. On the plane I found Maya doing what Saanjh had threatened her off... guard what is hers . And coming to insecurities I can say Saanjh is insecure as well. The fit she threw after she saw Arjun had gone to Mauritius with Maya at the airport & then when she saw the selfies that Arjun had sent her with Maya... Arjun isn't even her lover & she gets so pissed off seeing another woman with him & ppl call maya insecure!

If you respect other people's opinion then you should be fine with some people not finding the selfless & pure Saanjh not so & we should be fine too if you find Maya insecure manipulative murderer & totally negative & not someone who should be getting all the sympathies but rather the little angel heart broken Saanjh who should be getting that. Absolutely fine with me

Well said! In this show all the characters are somewhat grey shaded and nobody is pure white. It puzzles me how some people see Saanjh as a pure white character lol

But she does think Maya is not right for him doesn't she ? She has at least thousand times warned him to keep out of her. Prem buys a ticket for Saanjh to go all the way to Mauritius to confess her love but when they are in India the whole Mathur family becomes tongue tied ... the parents give angry looks at the couple & saanjh either cries or sulks. If not Saanjh why can't Prem tell him about saanjh's feelings after all the guy spent so much for his daughter's love . Woh paisa pura waste toh nahi jata ... India main bolne se kuch toh asool hota 😆 Keeping Arjun in the dark is looking very odd. He has the right to know what his family & saanjh's family wants all this time. He will be in for a very big shock. But after the initial shock he could have thought about it. Let him decide whether he too had feelings for saanjh or not but didn't realize . Why not give it a try instead of trying to gain sympathy .
But CVs have some other story to tell so this most logical way of dealing with things will not be shown or else they could not make Saanjh a stronger character. I was going through one of Aneri's interviews where she says Saanjh will no longer be a innocent & a giver. She too will have a complete change of character ...with many layers .
beyhadh love for arjun of these two women is the essence of this story ..& no ones gonna step back .

Well the thing is Friends have Limit. The way Saanjh carried on in the beginning was as though she is Arjun's gf/wife. On the other hand they had shown Arjun considering Saanjh as his bff only. Infact Arjun always discussed with Saanjh about how he is waiting for his dream girl, his Love of his Life, but even after all this Saanjh kept on rising her hopes.

And when she saw Arjun in the Airport with Maya, there also she started complaining that Arjun has changed?!

The thing is Arjun has not changed, he still considers Saanjh as his best friend, its rather Saanjh's perception that has changed or rather her hopes have died down.

Another thing that I found ridiculously irritating was about Saanjh complaining to God that he has given "her hissa of pyaar to Maya"

I mean hello? Since when was Arjun hers? Arjun never made a promise to Saanjh or said that he Loved her than why on earth did she say such a thing to God? Yaani ke she considered Arjun as his property?

Saanjh reaction would have made sense had they shown Arjun loving Saanjh and them being in a relationship for the long years but since Arjun has no romantic feelings for Saanjh, her reaction doesnt make sense.

And the way Saanjh said to Maya in Mauritius that she should keep her things safely otherwise if she finds it she wont return it was not normal really. I mean she literally warned Maya about stealing Arjun!

I seriously don't understand why is everyone assuming that Maya killed the Pandit or Saanjh killed the Pandit then would try to frame Maya later...I mean for all we know the Pandit could've died of heart-attack and it's just a co-incidence that his last prediction happened to be wrong words to Maya and maybe Maya had gone to see him and said something harsh like threatening or something... I don't see why everyone trying to make a murderer out of either Saanjh or Maya. I mean sure Maya can hurt people fatally and that's what she does...make people life miserable when she wants revenge but she doesn't have it in her to kill someone as of yet because if she did then she might as well have killed Ashwin by now, the only black-spot in her life. But she hasn't killed Ashwin nor had she caused him any fatal wound except the limped leg which I think most likely was accidental then intentional seeing if it was intentional then Ashwin would've been scared of Maya and not the other way around.

Now about Saanjh I do think that one or two mishap like this Pandit's death and she gets evidence about Maya being around then she'll also assume Maya to be very sinister...it might as well not be intentional and situation make it seem like Maya is a murder or something and Saanjh assuming that would try to free Arjun out of Maya's clutches, now truly Maya is capable of it or not is different thing which the show would reveal.

I also can't stand her and I have no idea why her overacting her chipku character making me dislike her and she is a turn off with Arjun she look sooo tiny and more like his little sister. I wish there was someone else instead of her who fits better the role.

It's natural tendency to hate a character simply because they feel it's a treat to ArYa. Saanjh is seen as an obstacle who wasn't allowing to ArYa happen and even the entire family also. I was shocked with the behaviour of some sensible viewers (whom I considered sensible)...n ways this is a nice and sensible post 👍🏼

Because Saanjh is a single female lead who is in love with the main lead making many fans insecure about Arjun and Maya. Therefore, if she is evil, she is automatically out of the race.

Also I find many are unable to accept that Maya is a grey shaded lead vs. Saanjh who is just annoying and clingy at best. There is a huge difference there but many are grasping at small straws where Saanjh isn't "mahaan" or is flawed to prove that she too is just as bad as Maya or even worse.

And to be honest, what is wrong with a grey shaded lead? Why do we need Maya to turn good? It's not everyday where the leading lady is grey shaded in the Indian Television. I mean its a huge compliment to Jennifer herself because she plays the character so well. Why can't we just enjoy it?

Let Maya be an anti-heroine, let Saanjh be a protector, let them go to war.

Ayaan-Saanjh, Arjun-Saanjh or Arjun-Maya, regardless of these pairing the above war between Saanjh and Maya WILL happen. So like it or not Saanjh is here to stay.

Saanjh is a lead as well regardless of whether she was shown in the promos or not. I almost find that this show is more about Maya and Saanjh and Arjun is just a two dimensional character who acts as a catalyst.
