Hi guys ! This is the first time I have come to this forum but trust me I watched all episodes ( I absolutely love Jenny as maya ) 👏 . But I couldn't put a finger on it .. There always seemed to be sumthing missing .. I guess now I know ... So I'll tell u ... Kushal Tandon 's characterisation and acting .. Both.. First the characterisation... Character has no depth .. No emotions .. He seems to be oblivious of just about everything around him... And what is bugging is .. He shud have been shown at least physically attracted to maya from the beginning ( any guy wud after seeing such a hot girl)No the guy has no hormones!! Only ambition.. Idiot.. 😡 .. Thus ,no chemistry .. Sizzling maya and expressionless Kushal !!!! That's why the sudden awakening of love yesterday looked completely phony 😭 And my list does not end here ... What's with makers ... Hot air balloon proposal underwater love... It's looking stupid ... Another problem I have .. Who is stitching aneri 's bedcover jackets ... Absolutely horrible !!!! Sorry guys for my outburst .. I am just pissed!!!

I also think they should redesign aneri s jackets but many liked it .
Coming to character of arjun,I agree his acting skills are not upto the mark .But unconnectivity you are feeling I think it's not actor s fault because it's the character of arjun doesn't love Maya .The character wouldn't have done unless yesterday the situation wasn't like that.When I see the same character with saanjh , I feel the connection .What he did yesterday was acceptance of her love because he thought nobody could love him more then her.

Maya is character who wears the best cloths and is super attractive but never ever got attracted to her.I think what he did was more of a mistake which he will realise soon.

I also agree the physical attraction should have been highlighted. Because no guy EVER goes for a girl he is not physically attracted to. Love or not, that is one part that has to sync. (Pyschology of Guys 101). LOL

So I think that is a failing in the writing and I also think it's a failing in the characterisation of Arjun. He has alwayd been shown oblivious. What Maya said was true. He is in his own selfish bubble, and just cant see the truth around him including others feelings. The very reason he never understood his Step Mother's love, or ever realised Saanjh's feelings.

The only difference is that Maya verbalised her feelings as well as showing them. But I think this was the first time Arjun was actually convinced of her love totally. He is attracted to her, but it has never been overt. Arjun is a carefree guy who just lives his life and his ambition is his passion. So maybe that's why? But I think we will see the situation unravelling as we go.

I keep imagining Namik Paul in place of Tandon! Any *good* actor can rise above the script and give an inspired performance on screen, but alas..

Jenny is the saving grace of the show.

THAT would have been the cherry on top! Namik is really good he would have nailed it for sure.

I agree with u. The whole love realisation of arjun seemed so fake! Kushal needs to improve with his acting. There is no depth only to his character. There is no logical reason as to how his feelings changed.The hot air balloon and now this underwater proposal is indeed stupid. Maya can't swim and in one day she learns to dive! Wow!

And Saanjh's character is a total waste of Aneri's talent. They give her nothing to do but cry. And she's going to cry some more in Mauritius now. And which parent sends their daughter to another continent altogether n all of a sudden knowing fully well the kind of hurt his daughter will go through. Back home she couldn't propose, when maya wasn't even in the picture, and now knowing fully well that Arjun may harbour feelings for maya, having seen them hug and all he sends her all the way to mauritius to propose! Waah! The CVs better make Arjun do more than be gullible and stupid and Saanjh do more than cry and hope for Arjun's love. I'm starting to lose interest in this show now. Illogical at its best is what it is right now.

yes even i feel the proposal has been rushed!!! maya saving him by risking her life can make you look at her admirably...as a result of that you may develop a crush on her as well and then take things forward from there...but proposing on the very next day looks a lil fake 😕...esp when they took so much of time to show how maya's feelings consolidated towards arjun...they could and should have done the same for arjun too...

but i guess this has been the major problem since the very beginning...it seems like the makers very well knows that the trump card of the show is jennifer...so they are not willing to waste their time and energy on any other thing which is rather shocking to say the least!! coz even i am an arya shipper and a huge fan of jenni...but the show is not a one man's game...here everything needs to click for the show to become successful...hope they realizes this sooner than later!

IKR? I think Jenny chose a show with a wafer thin plot only based on her character brief (after all, it's never been explored at all on Indian TV) otherwise this show is plain yawn-inducing snoozefest🥱 Also I don't get the constant Saanjh bashing on this forum. She's the ONLY character that makes sense to me. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to the courtroom scenes when Arjun lands himself in a soup due to Maya's obsession😆. It will at least give some scope for Aneri to perform and the tashan scenes b/w SanYa would be worth the watch I guess.

Hey, welcome to the forum!! *hugs* While Beyhadh is one of the best Indian TV shows I have seen in a while, I agree with most of your complaints. Jenny is absolutely fantabulous, no doubt. When it comes to Kushal, his acting has sure improved eversince the beginning of the show. I think it is not only the actor but also the writers who are 'at fault' for the missing chemistry initially. I just think Arjun's character was meant to be work-focused, Arjun knew Maya had incredibly high standards which is probably one of the reasons he never was attracted to her. I do not think all her male-workers are attracted to Maya, if anything they respect her and that's what Arjun did once he was done hating her. In the recent episodes I do think the chemistry between ArYa has improved fairly.

When it comes to the two proposals, I think it was meant to be extreme, after all, that is the theme of the show, Beyhadh, limitless but I understand how it can be a bit too much some times.

Aneri has a beautiful body, I do not understand why the stylists would choose to hide that behind balloon/harem pants and awful vests, maybe it's just part of Saanjh's quirky personality, but certain elements of her clothing could definitely be avoided and improved. Maybe it represents her middle-class mentality, not sure I can put a finger on it.
