What Maya has hidden like how damaged she has become mentally due to years of abuse Ashwin bada chadake will only tell that part to Saanjh like how mentally sick she is & will exclude the reason for her mental state which is obviously him ..

Sanjh will believe him in order to save Arjun .
But Arjun won't believe her I guess.
But truth is something which sanjh will find out herself and have simpaty for maya

I think this so called "Sach" has something to do with Ashwin's broken leg, and maybe as another member suggested the girl he was having a fling with. But even now, he has some woman living with him. The biggest thing here is the mental torture. He still has a hold over her mind and that is where the fear comes from. He has her so embroiled in it, that she can't quite come out of it even now. Ashwin is a despicable man who really deserves to be in jail. But this whole "Truth" that Jhanvi was referring to, has to be more than what Maya has so far said. She didn't even get to finish the story before Arjun ran off. The show is SO good now I just can't wait to watch the next episode! But Maya clearly went to some "Beyhadh" lengths to protect her Mother and I cant wait to know what she actually did, besides breaking Ashwin's leg, which he totally deserved.

By now we know aswin is not a saint but devil incarnate.
He want Maya's money.
It was obvious he and his mistress discuss how janvi had more class than her.
So it is all about money.
Ashwin was hell bound no one come close enough to maya.
She had no friends till Arjun.
He also said how maya colourless life become colourful.
If maya proved to be insane property goes to ashwin as he sill control janvi.

He will tell his side of story to sanjh about maya.
Sanjh will be his partner to save Arjun mission. Unknowingly
By the time sanjh knew the real face of ashwin it will be too late.

I don't think Maya will kill Ashwin ..don't want her to be a murderer . Jahnvi should kill him something she should have done long back ..Maya is in this state cuz of him . Y she didn't call the cops back then God knows ..then they wouldn't have suffered so much .

I really hope that there are more shadows from the past which have led to Maya's current state, else it would be a great disappointment.

I think you're all forgetting that emotional and physical abuse from childhood can have very damaging consequences in the long run i.e. PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) especially if it's not been dealt with and if he keeps coming back to remind her/haunt her.
You'd think Maya would have received some help like therapy but it doesn't seem like it. It also seems like it's the first time she's openly talked about it when revealing it to Arjun.

But a lot of you do have a point, Maya is clever and there may be more to the story. Not to mention, we know Ashwins broken leg is a part of it which she didn't mention anything about.

We'll just have to wait and see.

i think maya and jhanvi would be afraid of Ashwin telling truth bcoz he would tell in his own pov which can make arjun run.. like he could say maya was mad frm birth and she seprated him from his wife, his love.. or maya doesnt respects him, she is bad women etc etc..if arjun doesnt knw frm beofre he would surely stay away from her..
And about maya past, i dont think she is hiding something...person when thinking of past becomes too emotionl to plan on what to say and what not.. maybe she is herself unaware of her mentl order which she has due to her trauma.. she just do things.. she maynot know its happening due to her personality disorder or anything.. if she was aware she could have got herself treated for sure.

she is just acting in ways, life her taught her.. she may act possessive to arjun..bcoz she is afraid like her father arjun may go for other women...she acts in control bcoz she dont want to face her childhood torture again...she dont want to give anyone else upperhand in her life..
but as you said, this is a show run on trps.. later, on audience demand makers may make her anything.. And also in thriller there has to be a suspense element..
