Just caught up with the last Beyhandh episode on YT , it was a volcanic ! Maya is a ticking time bomb. Jen was phenomenal in this episode.

Finally saw Friday's epi ...
Kya bolun maya ka omg she was really a time bomb unpredictable I did t guess she would hurt her self so much ...and Jenny I have no words for her .. really amazing acting ... this was the best episode...

Jennifer Winget is really just phenomenal. This is truly her show even if the screen-time is divided pretty evenly and fairly. She steals every scene and the contrast between her turmoil and the lightness of say Saanjh having a play-fight with her brother is so startling and always unsettling. It's like the show is on purpose constantly comparing the difference your childhood can make.

You can either grow up bright and unconditionally loved or you can be Maya and have to viciously fight for everything you want while guarding those you value with an irrational sort of desperation.

I'm just so glad this show exists. India has barely moved on from the usual bakwaas in Bollywood so it's really refreshing seeing so much progression in Tellywood. The whole cast is aware of their characters and doing a fabulous job.

Short episode summary.

The doctor comes with the car stopped on the road and attends to Maya. Jhanvi promises Maya that she will not meet Ashwin.

Saanjh tells Arjun she's meeting some dude tomorrow. Minor scenes between Arjun-Saanjh and Arjun-Ayaan-Vandana.

Arjun enters office late and tells Maya it was because of the limp. Tries to tell that aunty called him and he didn't call her, and Maya rebukes him, asking him to call her mother Mrs Mehrotra.

Maya leaves for a business lunch. Arjun hops off outside too after bribing the peon to tell him if Maya came back.

Ashwin asks 5 lakh to Jhanvi again, and Jhanvi says no, remembering her promise to Maya.

Arjun and Saanjh's little brother reach the restaurant where Saanjh is due to meet her guy. They think he'll be a champu and enter in comical/retro outfits, but he ends up to be the opposite and says he earns 80 lakh, and Saanjh's brother calls him Jiju.

Maya is at the same restaurant for his business lunch. Arjun notices her and tries to stay out of sight.

Ashwin lands up there and Maya dashes against Arjun, but doesn't notice him in her hurry to flee from Ashwin.

Precap- first part of the new Maya beyhadh promo- Ashwin trying to slap her and Arjun stopping him.
