Absolutely it's because of her that the char Maya has sustained and kept the few audience still kind off connected.

I feel it's because of the concept where a woman is involved with both father and son is the major reason why it didn't click with general TRP audience than the inconsistency in the narration of Maya's character graph.

I'm not degrading the choice of audience but I feel except viewers like us who discuss every detail of the show on social media, the majority TRP Viewers don't pay heed to these inconsistencies. They need a strong point or emotion to get connected with the show.

Here the main point itself is indigestible to many that a woman came for revenge and involved with both father and son. That's enough for them to do moral policing and blame the concept. Also it's tough to sell revenge concepts unlike love stories. You need lot of hard work and absolutely no distractions and inconsistencies. Unfortunately which didn't happen with the show. That's why MayRa clicked more than the actual point. Love always wins over hatred.

Don't know how much of this makes sense. Just woke up now. So ignore if it defies logic😆
