Have the creatives forgotten the concept?

Beyhadh 2 theme is supposed to be Nafrat. But it seems as if the makers are replicating S1. I understand Maya fell in love and all but why is she becoming obsessed with rudra? she should be focused on her revenge on MJ and finding ways to take him down. I’m not seeing the Maya vs MJ battle that was promised.

Also no offence since the Mayra wedding, Rudra’s character has become so bland. His scenes with Maya are fine but as an individual, he has nothing interesting to offer. I am fearing that cvs will turn him into Arjun 2.0 if this carries on.

she is supposed to be obsessed with hatred for MJ. But all I’m seeing is her obsessive love towards Rudra🤪like bruh wth? this was Maya Mehrotra. Being protective about the man you love is one thing but becoming obsessed with him is just

I’m beginning to lose interest already. Indian thriller shows are such a joke. They have only glam with no substance. I think I would have liked this show a lot more had it been a limited series of 50 episodes instead.

She is obsessed with hatred, she hates MJ to the core but falling in love with Rudra was partly necessary for her to overcome her fear of MJ I suppose. Like how many other characters pointed that Rudra is her light that can help pull her out of the darkness that MJ forced her into.

Hence a second obsession is required here, that is Rudra. Hence comes Beyhadh nafrat vs Beyhadh pyaar.

But from what I saw, she is not obsessed with Rudra, the way Maya was with Arjun in S1. This one is more about her fear of losing him or protecting him than keeping him all to herself, it’s about her remorse and guilt regarding Rishi and her past relationship with MJ who is currently her father in law.

MJ trying to separate MayRa will fuel her hatred even further for MJ as he will be responsible in some way or the other for hurting Rudra in the process of hurting Maya. Just like the fish and fishy story narrated by Rudra.

So yes Maya does have a second obsession that is Beyhadh pyaar, however unlike MM her love involved protecting those that are dear to her, which is why she sent her mother far away, kept Myra away from the revenge plot. And now coming to Rudra, the minute she realised what he meant to her she wanted to get out of his life as she truly believed that she didn’t deserve him after what she did to his brother and her relationship with MJ, yes she wanted to leave so he doesn’t get hurt because of her, had this been MM then she would have done the opposite.

At the most, her revenge plan is already in motion, with Diya being her first target

I know she didn’t expect herself to fall for rudra and she feels protective about him, but the way her behaviour is coming across towards him looks more like an obsessive lover. The execution is shoddy. Bh1 no matter how flawed the writing was, the makers stuck to the concept of ‘Beyhadh pyaar’. This season was solely termed as ‘Beyhadh Nafrat’ which I’m hardly seeing tbh.

I couldn’t have said it better👍

I don’t know why people are left and right complaining about one or the other thing...

It’s not like she fell in love with Rudra at first sight...her plan was to kill MJ without literally killing him i.e. kill his sons who are the only ones who he unconditionally loves but she actually ended up falling for Rudra in the process...

She was badly tortured by MJ and his clan in the worst way possible so when she had to face him, it was only natural that she feared him...the PTSD is real especially when it was as traumatic as hers!! But people complained about that too claiming she is weak and all that lol...she needed one factor that would actually push her limits and help her get over her PTSD and nothing other than Rudra’s love could have been that factor...

Maya Jaysingh is no where close to Maya Mehrota! MJS, at least as of now, is possessive and protective of Rudra, especially given her own insecurities regarding Rishi’s death...she is not obsessive!! She cannot lose him at all but she doesn’t want him all by herself at the expense of keeping him away from everyone else, which was what MM was doing but MJS is only protective and possessive of Rudra as of now!! Yes, some dialogues and instances may show her as little obsessive but I wouldn’t take that too seriously coz at the end of the day Brand Beyhadh is Brand Maya who is known for being little sanki

I just wish people would have little patience to let the study unfold on its own pace...I appreciate criticisms but sometime too much unnecessary criticism affect the show’s viewing IMO

Beyhadh is what this serial screams... it could be nafrat,it could be pyaar...

The first 40 odd episodes belonged to nafrat... let a few belong to pyaar...

And what is wrong g with her being obsessive? Isn't it what this is all about.. having this sort of a disorder... now disorders can't compartmentalize hatred and love.. they come into picture at the highest emotions...

And right now Maya is sailing high on Rudra's love.. She has found this after years of torture...

Agreed that everything is a little dramatic but without it ,all will be flat and boring... Like Rishi's death felt like cold murder... there was no drama, everything just wrapped up in 1 episode... all were shocked..that is how it should be cold sometimes, dramatic sometimes..and hypnotically hot sometimes..

How I hate MJ for what he did to this soft beautiful girl .. I dont see a beautiful ending for her but I guess in this lifetime her heart certainly deserves Rudra, her light ,her life and her sanity...

Exactly! I completely agree with you and couldn’t have said it better!

Maya has finally found and experienced what true love really is...the naive Manvi who was badly cheated and inhumanly treated has finally found the love and care that could heal her wounds to some extent so it’s only natural for her to be so protective, possessive and needy of Rudra...it’s just been couple days since MayRa got married...people just need to have some patience coz as someone had mentioned somewhere, the writers cannot focus on all characters’ prerogative at the same time...it takes time to unravel the complete story...I wish and hope some disappointed viewers have or had this much patience

Well, if she truly loves Rudra it’s natural to watch her be a little protective of him to the point it seems like obsession, moreover if she were to think about destroying MJ all the time, where would it leave her love for Rudra.

This passion we see between MayRa is just here for a few episodes so just enjoy it while it’s there, once MJ and gang begin taking Maya seriously that’s when the real showdown begins.

Yes, the season is solely termed as Beyhadh nafrat, which is why Maya said that although she loves Rudra, her hatred for MJ is greater and takes precedence over her love for Rudra. Had this not been the case then she would have given up on taking revenge like how Myra, her alter ego and even Rajeev once suggested that she should forget about MJ and just move on in life.
