The episode opens with Krishna coming into Parth's house and smiling, she is planning to tie the string onto his wrist. She sees him in the kitchen, cooking. Or trying to cook basically and failing miserably. Then she goes to him, asks him what he is doing, he says she knows his dad is away and Ramu Kaka has gone home, he is hungry, and stands over a stove with something burning and smoke everywhere. the kitchen itself is a mess and so are his clothes, a gray tee shirt and jeans. Then Parth is trying to fry something in a pan, but it's not working out too well. He says he tried to make some food but then he hurt his hand, and shows her the burn on it. She sees it and is alarmed, she then puts something on it. Then Parth is like relax. Then Krishna says I will make something, so Parth takes some onions from a basket and gives them to her, and says he wants some onion parathas and goes. So Krishna is in the kitchen chopping onion for the parathas and remembers in childhood walking in on little Nirvaan cutting onions and asking him what he is doing. then Nirvaan says he loves parathas so much he can do anything for them, even slice onions. then Krishna takes over and cuts them for him as she is better at it. then tears roll down her cheeks thinking back to it. so she is cooking when Parth comes into the kitchen all cleaned up, his hair combed neatly and dressed in a crisp white kurta outfit admires the clean kitchen, and asks princess how long does it take to make onion parathas. then he looks at her and sees her crying and feels bad. He tell her, come here, then asks her to tell him why she is crying and she says it's the onions. Then Parth asks why she is lying, he can tell the difference between tears from onions and her own tears. So she tells him that Nirvaan has left home. He holds her gently and tells her that everything will be ok. (how sweet)
The setting shifts outside to the director's tent and the guy has just come back to it and asks his assistant what he is doing? the assistant tells him that he said all of Rajkot has no talent so why bother and just to pack up. then the attractive boyish director says and you took me seriously? Just go back to work now. The guy goes inside, but then the director says no not in there, out here unpack everything.
The setting shifts back to Parth's house, where Parth is sitting at the table in his fresh clothes. He says Krishna I am very hungry. then she comes out with two plates of food for him, and says here is your onion paratha and here is your aloo paratha. And sets them down on the table. Parth tells her that he has decided that he isn't going to eat onion parathas (which he loves) until Nirvaan comes home. Parth smiles and asks her to feed him and as she is about to do so, he says with yogurt, so she takes some paratha with yogurt and feeds him. He eats it with gusto and then he says to her to come stay in the house forever then it will be good. (This is proof that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.) He keeps chewing while he is talking. Krishna says that the only way that can happen is if we are married. So he says then let's go. She asks where? He says to get married of course. she gets up to look for the string she got from the priest in her basket of flowers. But she can't find it anywhere. Parth puts his well-toned arm around her from behind and says you wanted to tie me with something, well I have tied us together now we are joined together for seven lifetimes and I will not let you go. (lucky girl) He makes her feel better about the lost piece of string. Then he says to her, hello, let's go I will drop you home.
Parth and Krishna reach the Neelkanth house where Nutan smiles at Parth and says come and sit with them. She and Neelkanth are sitting on a sofa. Parth takes a cup of tea and then Nutan notices the burn on his hand. she asks what happened to your hand? Krishna says ma, when someone has no experience in a kitchen, isn't used to cooking or making tea then this will happen. she then explains that he was burned by hot tea. Then nutan asks him why he is going to such trouble. Parth explains that his dad is away from Rajkot and Ramu Kaka has gone home so he is alone in the house. then Nutan says why do all that and invites him to stay with them. Parth refuses but then Neelkanth says come stay then we will have a son and it will be nice. Nutan smiles and tells Parth to rush home and bring his stuff so he can stay at night. (lucky them)
Then a guitar is heard playing outside, where the scene shifts back to the director. Savri stands by a clump of bright yellow flowers and hears the notes. she is wearing a bright chartreuse yellow ghagra and chandelier earrings. she makes a music with one of her payals and twirls to the notes from the guitar. then she puts on the payal an runs down the stairs and dances in the garden, twirling around some pillars. She runs down the garden, with her scarf flying above her head. (a free spirit). The boyish faced director sees her from a distance and tries to catch a better glimpse of her. He goes closer to her and then says from behind, there's my kalpana hey you! then she turns around and he says "you?" she says "you?" she is about to run off when he starts playing on his guitar again and she turns her head. then the director stops and smiles at Savri, and says says thanks. She asks him why he is thanking her and he stands close to her and says that my kalpana is here thanks a lot. She goes back up the stairs. the director is relieved to find his dancing apsara, his kalpana. He says my kalpana is here, and thanks God. then he says to himself, congratulations dude, finally!
the scene shifts back to the Neelkanth house where it is evening abd everyone is sitting at the table. Nirvaan's chair is empty and his absence is felt by everyone who is still coming to terms with what happened. Parth comes down wearing a gray plaid shirt and matching gray jeans. nutan says to him to come. then he takes Nirvaan's seat and Neelkanth who is upset, says son this is Nirvaan's chair. So Parth moves to another chair. Then Nutan serves Parth's food to him. Neelkanth is overwhelmed and sad by the empty chair so he gets up to leave the table. After he leaves the rest of the daughters also leave except for Krishna. then Parth gets up to leave as well and Krishna stops him. Parth apologizes to her and says that because of him everyone left. But Krishna tells him that it wasn't his fault, it is because of the sadness filling the house that it has happened. She comforts him.
The scene shifts to the Rajkot hotel, where Nirvaan walks into the lobby. the manager stops him and tells him to clear his room, pay his bill and then leave. then Nirvaan says to the manager look it's late and I don't have any money just take my watch for now. Then Nirvaan heads towards the staircase. the managers asks him louldy where are you going? Nirvaan tells him up to his room. then the manager says because you didn't pay your bill we gave the room to someone else. That the hotel isn't for loafers. He tells Nirvaan to pay his bill, gives him his packed bag and tells him to leave after he has paid. Nirvaan takes the bag and walks out.
The sun rises over Rajkot and the birds are chirping sweetly. Krishna is seen walking down the stairs of the temple when a group of children approach her and one of them gives her a huge bouquet of lovely red roses. she asks who are these flowers from? then the kid says that it is from that uncle over there. Then they run off. So Krishna takes the bouquet with her, thinking it's from Parth and goes up the stairs to a nearby cottage. she walks up the stairs, yelling Parth! Parth! and hearing no reply, she says that you give me such beautiful flowers and now you are hiding from me? She thinks it's Parth because hiding is just his style and he surprised her at Holi with a ring. Then she is at the top of the stairs and someone from behind says "Hi." It's the guy from the other day who is smitten with her beauty. He shows her the string on his wrist which Krishna dropped when the car knocked her and the basket over. Krishna sees that and asks how did you get that? He says he doesn't know how, but it doesn't matter. It's his. And Krishna gets mad and says no, it's for my jeevan saathi. And then the guy laughs and says very well then I must be your jeevan saathi if I have it. Krishna says to him what nonsense is this, why is he saying all this. He says that his dreamgirl isn't a dream after all, that how beautiful she is and that she is a masterpiece and that she is the chosen one, she is his jeevan saathi. then he says let's get married. Krishna gets further antagonized by his big comeon speech and says I know your type, I know men like you you think because of your money that you can do whatever you want. But he can't have her. Then the guy introduces himself as Karan Bali but since she is his love she can call him KB for short. He then says that he can do whatever he likes with a beautiful girl. He says, it won't happen today, but tomorrow. He smiles and says that we will marry. He then says, the temple is here, God is here, let's go and he catches hold of her wrist. Krishna gets incensed by his fresh behavior with her and she shakes off his grip. Then she tries to slap him but he catches her hand before she does. she is shocked by this and is trying to break free but his grip is too strong. They look at each other, not saying anything. The camera revolves around both of them from various angles and then freezes on them, his hand holding her wrist. The episode ends.
*I have to say this is one of the best episodes with Parth and Krishna only second to the Holi scene where they are together and Krishna cries tears of joy. Parth looks amazing messy or totally cleaned up. I love how in a recent PD promo Parth tells Krishna that she is the color of his life, how beautiful is that.*
