@SK1509 "His best performance, career to date, is probably a toss up between his character in Saubhagyawati Bhava or Tere Liya. In the former (especially at the beginning) he played someone who didn't speak much and the subtlety of his performance was amazing. In the latter he played a Heathcliff type character with severe issues so perfectly. Definitely check out both of those shows.

He was also very good in the first passionate love gothic story arc in Kis Desh Main Hain Mera Dil back when his character was supposed to be just a normal boy in love against his father's wishes.

In Bepannah he wasn't allowed to show the full gamut of human emotion. The love (and hate) scenes with Zoya and Pooja (and himself and all of the mother characters) were beautiful but I never really believed the softer / subtler or happy moments. This was probably an intentional move by the writers but if you compare HC with BS in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon or the lead in Dil Hi to Hain (all playing similar characters), you can see how lacking Aditya as a character really is. We never get to see his development in any way shape or form.

Jennifer, by contrast, was allowed to show the softer and subtle emotions as well as Zoya's transformation but we only really got a glimpse of what she does best fire. Those scenes where Zoya is angry at Aditya were amazing but there weren't enough of them. "

Since the abrupt closure to BP I have been catching up with Harshad's entire work profile and have discovered an actor with immense talent and one totally dedicated to his craft. Jennifer I have been watching since her Sneha days and never missed any of her shows but Aditya was Harshad's first role for me.

DSDKD..SB , Tere Liye were not the kind of shows I normally watch but I did for his sake and was impressed with his nuanced performance in both the shows. KDMHMD which I am watching right now is too lengthy but again I have seen it only for him. There are sections in this serial where he certainly excels ...as Gaurav and then after the leap. He kind of came into his own with this show and exhibited the entire range of his ability to perform...tragedy, comedy, angry young man, simple soul ...he did everything. But have to admit it was Sahir that I appreciated the most from his repertoire before Aditya...though I have liked him on screen in every role from LRL...even Mohan Gala grew on you.

Suffice to say that Harshad has a rare screen presence and chameleon like he can mould himself to every character and is always trying to stretch the boundaries for himself.

I think he was excellent as Aditya ..definitely his best performance till date.

Wish him more accolades ahead. Certainly a talent to uphold.

As for TRPs, India is like China and South Korea in this regard. Those people lauding South Korean shows make me laugh. The SK shows we see online aren't the high TRP generating shows. If you go to SK the most popular shows are daily soap operas (with 50-100 episodes a season) and those are very bad; in fact they are probably more regressive than Indian and Pakistani shows.

The difference is that SK doesn't export them outside of East Asia as there isn't an international market for these crappy regressive daily shows yet. There is, however, a growing international market for everything Indian and Pakistani and so we get no filter.

Indian limited web series are amongst the best in the world but get little to no exposure. I hope as Netflix starts to promote these shows more this will change. One of the best series I have seen in a long time is Permanent Roommates (Tripling coming a close second). If HC or Jennifer or a similarly famous or popular Indian TV actor could do something similar on Netflix I think they'd kill it and the face of Indian TV could change as a result.

sry I think aditya hooda was well written...it had multi shades...even tere liye was trp topper but I think anurag dint challenge him..ad abt itv viewers..people r accepting ladies speacial ad patiyala babes..1 trp in sony is great..even I agree..bp concept was gold not execution..actually cv serials like bh ad ytg too, concept is good but later loose the track..anyways hope hc new show is good

@Darling from day one of BP I had told BP was a story to felt not to be seen. If you see it, it is difficult to connect with it. Because it was story of love, not love story. Love is not seen it is felt. Difference of opinion mainly happens because of that. The ones who could feel enjoyed BP, but for one who just saw it, it was difficult to fathom.
BP was not a flop. It was a topper online and it did well in UK and international level. It is dubbed in various languages and even launching in Romania on March 19th. A flop show wont get this much mileage. Also it won many prestigious awards including jury for best director and it was indeed a directors show. And if the slot was not changed and if it was started on time definitely would have done better in trp charts too. As a viewer of itv I know that much. Thank you for replying. I enjoyed the feel of the show. It was a directors show than the actors. Unlike beyhadh which hinged on Maya and Jenny.
I would be always sad the story was not shown fully. Because if it was shown everything would have been connected.

I just wish he comes back very soon. I am missing his on screen presence. I wish he gets a character where he can express subtle emotions because he is excellent when it comes to subtle scenes. That's why Anurag>Raghav>Sahir>Aditya>Prem for me. And can Harshad and Rati Pandey get cast together. They are my dream pair from decade. Two powerhouses of talent!

Harshad is definitely very choosy and willing to hibernate before he signs a show of his liking. while there is a lot of buzz on Jennifer we get to see nor hear much about Harshad unfortunately. a few Instagram posts tell us he is working hard to maintain his physique. Then we saw some pictures of him at Cinevista and latest is him catching up with RK & SS in Mumbai.

All of this indicates that he is going to take his time before he comes back on screen.Hopefully it will be with Cinevistas with AR as the Creative head and director. He certainly brings out the best in Harshad and he is on record that he finds Cinevistas a great PH to work with.

BP ending actually proved bhoot bangla is a flop channel 😆 without naagin and KKK, most of their weekday shows are suffering. I miss our show but glad bhoot bangla can no longer interfere with the story or mess with the timing. People who never liked the show came here after 3-4 months trying to convince fans how " lame "and " flop " AdiYa and BP are 🤣 try your luck somewhere else 😆

I agree with this.
The channel is cleary suffering, especially in the international market. Voot was launched in the UK on Virgin and to advertise it they've used BP both on the channel itself and the webiste despite the fact that that the show no longer on air. They have not advertised it using any current show. I doubt any company would use a 'lame' or 'flop' show to promote their app in the UK. It clearly shows that colors knows what a popular programme they had and are still willing to use the popularity of the show and the actors to encourage viewers to use their app.
I've added a link of the website main page (the thumbnail also had the same picture) - the information is about Voot and Eros now which includes bollywood but they've still used BP to promote it.

It's annoying how colors is able to take advatage of the popularity of the programme and its actors to advertise their app when they treated the show so poorly. 🥱

@bold: more than annoying, it's SHAMEFUL, the way Colors shamelessly uses this top pair and the great story of BP to lure people to use their app.

There is an added nuisance regarding Voot: nowadays one has to REGISTER to be able to use the app or get to the site. Earlier, one could use it freely - and had the feeling of privacy being protected, at least, somehow. But now?? Going the Wiki Leak Way ?!🤢
