Why should anyone work for free? Channel will earn from their progressive shows as well.

If channel is earning from progressive shows why will they scrap it

Obviously it's giving losses ..so they r scrapping

Now my pov why channels should bear losses and show so called progressive shows and kill their profits

Why not actors slash 50 percent of their fee for progressive shows and that way channel can run show for long period of time and might be trp aunties will change ..

Along with profit channel has responsilbility towards their audience what they show will affect people

Jio enterd the rural india and trps if rural tv channels has decreaed by 2 points.. In just two years

With mission digital india when masses have the acess to internet indian tv (rural and urban will die a slow but sure death)

On trp,channel and actors.

And i will believe in people who have given gems of tv shows to the industry, who earns their bread and butter from industry..who earned the experience and respect working the very industry they are feeling sorry about rather than a faceless troll😊

Channel thought their BB would compete with KBC. That was stupidest of them to think that. Anyday, KBC would attract more viewership than BB at the same time slot. KBC ruled TRP chart as a weekdays reality show.

Even 3 Khans together won't be able to bring in viewership to BB in that slot against KBC.

And the loss is not limited to BB only, none of their show can compete with other channel. IMMJ was ruined because of their unnecessary interference, otherwise it could have been the best thriller in recent times.

Naagin is a weekend show which has no competition as such. Just bring a cometition and it will suffer too. Indian Idol is leading only with its weekend slot.

You have a lot of ignorance about behind the curtain strategy of channels.

Channels breach the contract all the time. Some PH have learned better from it like that of Siddarth Tiwary. Ever wondered why most of the creative witers are going for Sony. Tiwary launched Porus and then Chandragupt on Sony back to back after having been bitten by SP during Mahabharat where he had to drag the story because of channel for 4 months.

Agree channeles are not NGOs or charity organisations and are in the business for making money but do not agree that BP was not making money. Just prior to closure they earned revenue with prized advertisements eg Manyavar ...something no other show has been able to garner. There was more to closure of BP than merely losses...that was an excuse which was doctored byt showing BP on shifting sands. We the viewers were traumatised by forcing us to watch what we did not want to watch. If we are not expected to criticise what trp audience watch why should our timings be infringed by thrusting trp shows down our throats.
Simply put show timings and trp rating timing should match and not be at cross purposes.
So there was a prima facie evidence showing that certain forces wanted BP closure unless they followed digressing from the original storyline ...Arshad track, Papa hooda muder, Ram Seetha tracks were enforced examples.

Bepannah I agree they changed timings and killed the show deliberately for some other reasons ..but so many other low trp shows shut off too many times

U can't expect bepannah to get naagin trp ..channel knew it .,bepannah was givi g reasonable trp ..but don't k ow why they killed it deliberately

That's why I am not supporting harshad ..he should not talk about rural audience and trp bcos they r not cause for bwpanah shut down

If he has guts he should talk about what went internally to sabotage bepannah or keep his mouth shut by not blaming rural audience and trp

Naagin3 for past 5 months has competition with huge popular show Sony Indian idol

I don't think anywhere he blamed rural audience.. listen to him again of you wish to.. he said TV shows cater to one type of population and ignore the other two types.. nowhere he blamed rural masses their likes or dislikes.. am happy he opened his mouth. Hope ppl listen to him without bias.
