@Mandy take any mytho its the story of the leads paying for past sins. Take Ramayan. Who created the mess of Ram's life. His father's insane attraction towards his younger wife Kaikeyi over the first wife and queen kausalya. 14yrs of Vanvas kind of banishment in those days. Sita goes but they are supposed to have no conjugal relation for that time period as brahmacharya is part of vanvas. You are with the woman you love and the one who loves you, but yes you cant have marital relation irrespective of being married. They undertake that journey together, keeping that vrath. Then Ravan takes Sita. War, victory, they come back. She is pregnant. Society and questions. King is forced to banish queen. When does he sees her again. When she comes between father and sons who are at each other's neck over Aswamedha horse, then again once more where she rejects the society that rejected her and take bhoomipravesh. He lives a whole life in her memory without her, not even having another wife dedicating his life to her . Brings changes to society. If you read just this you feel what it is. But if you sit and read Ramayana just like that u will feel Sukoon, because that was what their life was about. They burned to give happiness to others.

Sorry guys for the long mytho rant. As I said yesterday also I had expected another end which is also heartbreaking, but still sukoon wala. Had never expected BP to have any of those bollywood happy endings because anirudh sir had told its story about love and not love story.
