Colors have promoted BP like there is no other show. Its a channel which is totally unpredictable, there was a time they have just axed shows left , right and centre.
They have redefined promotions with regards to BP. But being in Mumbai and both PH and channel know that many trp contributors are from those one room tenants spread across the city.
I dont know which country or city, members belong to and 10.30 is slated as a late night slot but over here in these one room societies, drinking and portable water comes after 10 pm , sometimes 11 and many households tv is on till 1 am in the night. Yes these category of audiences, again get up by or 6 am and go to work . Majority of them travel by public transport.
This is where channels like Star Plus and sometimes Zee have tsken advantage of. There are speakers in trains and flat screen tv in buses
Last month when i had to go to a distant subrub, Sp list of new programmes were announced after some dandmajan ad, by the time i got out of the train, i knew which serial is coming at what time.
Even though i havent seen Ek Hasina Thi, Vatsaal and Simone Singh's face were all over BEST buses.
I havent come across Colors doing this, yes they have their own method which also work but this medium of advertising will do
