shalu..pooja didnt think of aditya as a worst husband..she felt of him as never to be her husband..she never felt the companionship from aditya that she expected from her husband..and u r right..that this doesnt justify ema..she could simply have told him she is not happy with him..though she hinted many times about her needs ,he never understood her..and still if he didnt change.. she should have divorced aditya before going to the extend of sleeping with yash..and yash is totally another chapter..he was a loser in every sense..his mere sarcasm regarding zoyas failure to be his friend must be enough for a person to understand he is an idiot..😆..anywasy..as u said..love is blind..in poojas side..the only justifyable reason for her to fall for yash was because he was available for pooja..he was there to hear her out which aditya was never able to do so..

Zoya never truly loved Yash, she loved that illusion which Yash showed her. In true sense it's more like a school girl kind of crush. That's the reason she never evolved as a person with him. She was living a lie which just had a physical manifestation. She was actually in love with the idea of having fallen in love and being loved according to my POV. Aditya came as first rays of sun in her life which showed the truth of her relationship. Aditya challenged her and helped her to evolve as a person in every aspect of her life be it being a successful business woman or a responsible daughter. Yash was a lie and Aditya her truth.
Whereas the same is not the case for Pooja-Aditya. Aditya truly loved Pooja maybe his love did lack some elements and maybe lesser on the romantic side but nevertheless she was his love back then.

On zoyas case i agree word by word with u..but adityas case too i dnt think that was true love..his live for pooja was always one sided..he saw her in his world..but he didnt make a world with her..when it comes to marriage..we sort of make a new world for us apart from ourselfs..for aditya he trusted pooja with all his being.mbut he failed to.provide her companionship..and thats a big loss when it comes to love..companionship comes as a part of love..we tend to be with our love..to know our love..to feel what they feel...he never wanted that from.pooja he was enjoying his life with pooja snd respected and gace her everything she deserves materialistic...but that can only be called as friendhsip waala love...true love is when aditya said to arshad what he thinks about zoya..he said he doesnt try to understand zoya. .zoya is a feeling for him..thats what happens when we r in real.love..we feel before understanding..and we change for the better because of that feel..
Thats what i feel so. 😛

Hey deeps 🤗
Thank you for the thread.

Adi not being Zoya's first love, now this is not a simple sentence with an easier definition, because there is an equal and beautiful contradictory statement for this that true love happens only once in a life time, I emphasis the phrase true love here.
Now Zoya's love for yash was true, according to her definition of true love. While we don't have a clear picture of how Zoya and Yash fell in love with each other , but guess that it started with an infatuation, that which followed to love and marriage.

Then Adi, his love for Pooja was also true and perfect according to his definition of true love , because for him dosti pyaar hein aur pyaar dosti, which is only half true in real sense.
Now going by their story I think pooja ceased to be his friend post marriage. Because we usually share our thoughts to our trust worthy best friend, and that's what true friendship means and we won't hesitate to point out if our friend does any mistake, seedha muh par bolthi hein if we are a true friend as well.
So where does that freedom of speech in friend ship of pooja got lost? Adi was still an open book but pooja, so what I believe is there was not even friendship from Pooja to Adi, so no question of true love.

Then AdiYa met, Adi realised pyaar dosti nahin hein lekin pyaar main dosti zaroori hein,
Zoya realised , woh nazuk hein, kamsor nahin, Zoya realised the sherni in her. Together they realised the meaning of true love in real sense and not the way they think, but the destiny taught them their true love lies with each other. 'Mein nahin jaantha tha, tum nahin janthi thi, hum nahin chaahthe dhe' yes true love just find its way, no one has to pave the way for it and when it comes there is no choice left other than to accept it. AdiYa' s journey is nothing but true definition of true love.
Back to the director's words about the show, Bepannah is not a love story but a story about love.

Zoya is the best FL character I ever saw she is not like a mummy of ML who always teach what he should do or should not be she loved Yash from heart but she loves Aditya from her soul he is the person with whom she feels complete and truly happy
They both loved each other truly
Zoya feels completely happy with Aditya
And Aditya his each action shows how much he yearns for her love he wants to show her that he is complete with her only her

Zoya and Pooja are both completely different from each other. Aditya-Pooja did have their thing they used to do groceries and cook together. A marriage is a two way street and I can't blame only Pooja to fall out of love in this marriage. But I feel the problem here was Pooja never communicated what she wants out of this marriage, she didn't feel the need let Aditya know about the abortion. Forget Zoya any woman at Pooja's place will not go for an abortion without a fight. Pooja hid a lot of things from Aditya she veiled the real picture of their marriage. I still remember the birthday when Pooja asked Aditya to make a wish and he just wished to have Pooja by his side in the next birthday. It was really cute and romantic for me. I really don't know what Pooja wanted. Forget being a wife she failed as a friend too.

Deep, i suck at analyzing love and what not because I haven't seen many successful relationships of people around me. But there's a quote "you were not my first love but you were the love that made all others irrelevant."
So i agree Zoya loved Yash, maybe not bepanah love but I strongly believe she did. TVs and Novels have romanticized the idea of "true love being your first love" hence we all don't like to admit but truth is you can fall in love way more than just once in your life.
I think Adi is so hurt because he doesn't realize Zoya has completely moved on. In his eyes, Zoya is his first love these feelings are so new to me and to possibly think that she may not feel the same (he's such a dumbo at times I swear 😆 ) is heartbreaking beyond belief for gim

Sometimes we have the romanticised version of someone we have created in our head..not the actual person. And thats what happened with Zoya. She was infatuated with Yash. Like a person we may have liked in our teens and so want to end up with him and that's exactly what happened with Zo.
But what Yash did was a rude awakening and just broke her bubble and she has definitely shifted her personality and may even realise that it wasn't true love in real senses. Her love for Adi is the true one.
