@mans havent you heard the line " Urvasi shapam upakaram"(Means the curse of Urvasi is a boon). Urvasi had cursed Arjuna to be a eunch for a year. But for Arjuna that came in handy during the vanvas period of 1 yr ajantha vasa, meaning u have to disguise yourself so that you are not found. He became a eunch and started teaching dance for the daughter of the Virat.

Vishnu and Lakshmi are cursed to be separated. But then they always use their seperation to bring benefit for the larger good.

Dasratha gets the curse he will die of the sorrow of son. Dasratha who was childless at that time rejoices in that curse which means if he has to die of sorrow of son, atleast a son has to be born to him. So every curse can be a boon and every boon a curse too. Classic case is Kaikeyi and Shishupala. Kaikeyi had two boons with which she asks Ram's vanvas and throne for Bharata. End result her own son Bharatha disowns her and she becomes the most hated woman in Ayodha responsible for the death of the king and for sending their favorite crown prince for vanvas.

Shishupala's mother takes the boon from Krishna that her son's 100 sins will be forgiven. His mother believed her son cant do 100 sins. But Shishupala ends up doing exactly that during the Rajasooya of Yudhistra and gets killed in the process by Krishna's Sudarsana. So boon and curse is how you deal with them.

The curse is meaningless because it came from a minor character 😆 and Yh as some pointed out she said Zoya Siddiqui not Hooda 😉 we all know Zoya will be happy only with Aditya. Plus Anjana's diya didn't light up which indicates no matter what she does to separate Adi from Zoya she will not succeed. Roshnaq already gave AdiYa her blessings 😃

Very positive and amazing post di thank you 😳it was very heartwrenching to watch zoya's condition :( but loved how adi was handling the situation. He was consoling zoya by his actions at the same time tried to convince waseem also. He even pleaded infrnt of him :( i could see harsh in tht scene. Tht day harsh was ready to plead waseem for adi nd tdy adi pleaded for zoya. Adi as a kid frm broken family knws the importance of relation.

The thing which disturbed me was ameena's curse😔a mother's curse!! I personally dnt believe in curse but whenever i hear someone cursing i feel terribly bad at tht point! Tdy when she cursed adi looked more worried than zoya :( But when roshana blessed them i was little relieved. she is really like an oasis in a desert! such lovefilled soul nd tdy she promised tht she will always support adiya which will have connection in future . Adiya wil face the effect of the curse but like u said roshana's blessings will make them strong.

And tdy zoya adressed her feelings as love fr the 1st time when talkng to arshad :)) tht proud and subtle happy face of adi 😃i really loved tht part a lot.

true shruthi me being 80 child i connected easily. wonderful analysis.the emotinal black mail waseem did today was pathetic. he pointed out zoya mistake & kept some fear saying that again your choosing a wrong person.he literally he made her to feel guilty. its parents responsibility to stood by there children in thick & thin. but counting hiw supported you is not at all parental thing.zoya badly need her abbu dua. mother dua is more important than any thing. roshnaq stood with the. emotional epi.

Reading about DDLJ , I want to share a case of my sister...Like you, she is an 80's kid. DDLJ is her favorite movie. While studying she fell in love with a guy of different caste. She tried to manofy my parents a lot but they were not agreeing but still she and Jiju didn't lose hope and kept trying and at last they got married with the parents approval. So yes, her choice matters and it did matter for my parents finally. I understand this now as I was too young and immature that time to understand anything.

Now coming to the episode, the moment zoya said that she won't marry anyone if her father didn't approve, the girl took my heart. Wasim has an amazing daughter whose value he is not realizing now.

Aditya's sorrow on realising that loving him can cause this to zoya was so real. The scene actually looked so natural to me when he went on his knees to plead Waseem.

Roshnaq as a mother was awesome. She stood by Adiya and also confronted her husband about his haste decision. But that stone hearted man has locked his brains with his ego. Koi Na, akal thikane lagaegi kisi din iski.

All in all a good episode and a great analysis by you.

Ps: I so wanted to share my sister's case after reading about Ur analysis on DDLJ.So couldn't stop myself from sharing it.

It was a bit draggy episode but a needed one. It was a realistic situation where girls don't follow their heart due to the love of their family and the fear of society. Many truly did give up on the love just because of this and did live a life full of Samjhota. But i liked the way Roshnak pointed "Agar Pyar milgya hai toh dheere dheere sab mil jyga". It signifies the real dept of life.. if you are happy yourself and in selfless love with someone... you do understand everyone's emotions much better. I guess love opens a door in your heart which let you see the world with more clearity and empathy.

I did understand the dilemma of Arshad's parents and Ameena did pointed some good question if she Zoya wasn't ready for the marriage then why she put the ring on Arshad that too in front of Aditya. But she doesn't know the circumstances that lead to those decision. I din't expect her to understand too.. she was looking from the lens of a mother who loves her child very much and he did got hurt in the process. But dialogues were a bit OTT 😆 😆.

Zoya was not wrong either.She tried to be a daughter to make her father proud this time and she never kept Arshad in dark. She did say to him that she doesn't love him and she did straight away rejected the marriage initially. Again the circumstances put her in the position to reach to such extreme point. Her POV was very much cleared today. LOVED the way Aditya stood with her each and every second. He tried his best and give the promises from his pure heart which should have been enough fro any loving father to be confident about his daughter's choice.

But man Waseem is Waseem.. he doesn't have heart to begin with to listen to everyone's plea. Ameena was right, why did he call them for proposal without asking to Zoya first? He said he asked her again and again whether she wan't to marry Arshad and not? So Waseem what was Zoya's reply for almost one week and then you played her.. broke her.. made her weak and less confident about her choice and she finally accepted Arshad after getting defeated by her own father. How in the hell she gave you DHOKA and he even put this dhoka above the dhoka given to Zoya by yash.🤢 I have already made a post on him and not gonna waste my energy again. He created the well for himself and then he fall.. that's all.

Roshnak was the total love today. She needed to stand up and she did. She blessed Adiya for their future and give them most important life lessons. She pointed all the right things about Waseem and she had enough with his stone heart. I didn't like how waseem was sulking like he is aghast by everyone betraying him😆 😆 😆 Meri patt toh mein khush or meri nakami to sab gunhegaar.😕🤢

Again same precap and now i am feeling more and more they won't get married before reaching the Hooda Mansion. Anjana mata taunting Zoya more. Koi rehem khao Zoya pe.. she is broken beyond imagination now.

Waseem 😕if he had pointed out hw she broke him his reputation nd insult then i wouldhav tolerated him to lil extent,but he was again pin pointing zoya's past nd made a comparison!! He doesnt even has the trust tht zoya can take right decisions :/ he was irritated and shocked to see roshana's support for adiya. He knws tht his entire family loves and accepts adi, still he wnt accept tht and wants to live in denial. U beautifully gave an explanation abt generation gap which is very true in waseem's case & apart frm generation gap waseem's nature itself is a problem. Because there are certain 80's parents who are friendly and broad minded unlike waseem, but again such parents are few in numbers.

Waseem is the only man in his family. The whole family of women depended on him. He has always protected the women of his house and aisa karte karte, he started thinking he has authority over the women. He started thinking only he has the right to take decisions of the womens lives. Roshna always allowed herself to be dominated by him. Zoya and Noor took decision of their own lives and that turned out to be wrong. Zoya's decision to marry Yash turned out to be wrong one as Yash cheated her. Noor's decision of running away from house and go to Mumbai also turned out to be wrong for Waseem as she was thrown out of the house by Madhu and Zoya couldn't support her because she herself was in huge trouble due to Rajveer. So all these incidents made Waseem over confident that only he can take correct decisions and his daughters can't.

Waseem told Zoya that she betrayed him for the second time because she chose her life partner. He was more angry because she chose a man of her own choice again and he thinks she again took a wrong decision. Aditya understood this reason and he promised Waseem that he will prove himself to be his daughter's right choice. He will never betray and hurt her because he understands the pain of betrayal. Waseem had no answer to this but still he can't trust Aditya's words. Aditya can win Waseem's trust with his actions more than words.

Ameena cursed Zoya Siddiqui that she can never be happy in her life. But Roshna blessed Zoya Hooda that she will always be happy because she has chosen a right man for herself who loves her unconditionally. So one mother curses Zoya for hurting her son and another mother blesses Zoya for choosing her love. Time will tell whether the curse will have more effect on Zoya's life or the blessing.

Shruti, as u always talk about hindu mythology so in mythology, whenever a person gets cursed, he/she also gets an antidote/blessing to cut the curse. U gave a good example of Arjun. There are many more such examples like Ahilya being cursed of turning into a stone and then got the blessing that Lord Ram will step on her and she will turn into human again.

So Zoya got a curse and also a blessing that will cut her curse.
