The only one responsible for what happened to Aditya is Anjana. She is a very possessive mother and she loves her son too much. She never questioned him for anything he did in his life. Even if he was wrong she always defended him in front his father. She raised a child character in man body. He never faced his own mistakes. She never put any responsibility on him. He just acted according his pure childlike heart. Pooja and Sakshi too are responsible but she as his mother has the main share of guilt. For the first time Aditya faced his mistakes was the revaluation Sakshi did to him. It was so hard for him to see how his innocent words can hurt others. And cost him everything.
When Adi wanted to revenge from Yash in Zoya figure Anjana never tried to stop him. Even when Harsh tried to stop him she defended Adi. But now when her sons became friends to Zoya she can't accept it. She is very possessive mother and she can't share her son with anyone else. Even with his best friend. She only sees the pain that Zoya caused to Adi but never saw the pain Adi caused to Zoya. The same way Wasim sees only the pain and the problems Adi caused to his daughter Zoya but never saw the positive affect Adi has on his daughter and how many times he saved her and supported her. Both parents are very loving and protective. But one of them only sees her son perfect never saw his mistakes and the other only sees his daughter is in fault never saw her rightness. Both parents are wrong in the way they rose their kids. Both are responsible on their kids' faults.
I can see that Wasim is more reasonable than Anjana. There are some moments he was proud of his daughter and he supported her decisions even if he didn't agree on it. Like when she decided to stay in Mumbai those sex months and when she wanted to reopen Posh case. But Anjana condition is worsen day by day. Even when her son left her for sex months without any news or contact with his family she refused to reproach him for what he did to his family and the pain and suffer he caused his family in those months. She only blame Sakshi or Zoya but never ever sees her family mistakes especially her elder son Adi
In the same time we see how she treats Arjun. She just gave Arjun to his dad to do whatever he wants with him. Harsh chose his career and she never asked what her son really wanted. Harsh put the family responsibility over Arjun's shoulder and she never talked about it. She never cared for Arjun's feeling or bothers to know what he wants. She treats Adi as her 9 years son Shiko and Arjun as a grown up man
