Anjana pusing zoya and Adi holding zoya, both starts to look eachother, zoya is happy by adi return adi confused over seeing zoya there(the look he gives depicts here)- zoya saying adi you came back and our plan have worked adi is like plan(does here it seems like he doesn't know anything about fake news)-zoya released and then adi asking arjun why are you upset actually I should be upset for what you have done( here it seems like anjana told him then only he came to know to fake news). I feel like he is hiding something from them and so only he is trying to move away again from his family and friends and now he came only to visit them before leaving forever and not by this fake news.....what he is hiding? If not so then it's only I'm feeling like this (If possible you people rewatch the episode you can look adi reaction completely, I feel clearly it tell some other thing than the fake news.
