||Happy Birthday Aarohi||
It was a hot summer evening, the sky was still a light blue, hardly a cloud in sight. With a deep breath Arohi walked up the long road, she raised her right hand fanning her face, her eyes closed for a slight second, on opening them she released a gasp.
Was the heat getting to her? Was this a hallucination because of the heat? "Jennifer" Arohi called out making her look up, she smiled, waving at her.
"Hello sweetie, how are you?" Jennifer asked, brushing her hair back with her hand and removing her sunglasses.
She had never felt so nervous, Jennifer was one of her faviourate actresses, she had dreamt of this day, imagined this day yet never believed it would happen any time soon, that to by chance. "I am good thank you" her reply was nervous
Jennifer reached out, bending down slightly she wrapped her arms around Arohi. Pulling away she pulled the lid off her pen with her teeth, then pulled out a notebook from her bag, "What's your name"
"Arohi" she smiled, taking the piece of paper from Jennifer. "Thank you so much, you're one of my faviourate actresses, im a big fan of bepannaah"
"That's great sweetie, I am glad, who are your other faviourate actresses" Jennifer's smile widened slightly, her eyes twinkling.
"Shrenu Parikh, its kind of my birthday wish to meet her" Arohi let out a laugh, slipping the paper into her pocket, promising herself to keep it somewhere safe where she could see it daily
"Oh, really, it's your birthday today" Jennifer pulled out her phone. "I think I can help with that" she turned her body slightly to stand next to Arohi. "Hey Shrenu its me, would you mind doing me a favour"
Arohi didnt even know that the duo were friends, but then again they did work in the same industry so it was possible.
"I have a girl called Arohi here and it's her birthday and shes always wanted to meet you, would you mind saying hi"
Shrenu smiled "Hey, happy birthday, I hope you have a great day"
Arohi smiled, her heart was racing, even though she hadn't got to meet Shrenu in real life, this was the next best thing. The coupling of Omkara and Gauri had always been her faviourate part of the show."Thank you, im sure I will now"
"Im really sorry I couldn't see you in person, but im shooting, see" she turned the camera around to show other members of the show then turned it back "Do you watch Ishqbaaz"
"I do, I love Gauri and Omkara"
Kunal sat beside Shrenu "We love them to, come, we have to shoot"
Shrenu nodded "Let me just wish her happy birthday again, she's a fan"
"Oh, happy birthday" Kunal smiled, waving at Arohi, Shrenu did the same then the call was cut.
Arohi glanced up at Jennifer "Thank you for this, its been the best birthday of my life"
"Awww, I'm glad, have a good rest of the day" Jennifer hugged her again, took her phone back, then with a wave she walked away.
Though a brilliant end to her birthday, Arohi couldnt help but feel this was all a dream, but life was full of surprises, and this had been an amazing one. With a smile she was sure wouldnt dissapear for a while, she continued her walk home, excited to tell everyone the great news.
