Exactly. As now Adi is no one to her but a person who tried to impose his thoughts on her, who always made problems for her and who is trying to destroy zosh. So how will she trust Adi?
See that is how Zoya's character is made. She is a woman who was protected by all family, once her dad then Yash. They never let any problems to face her, they gave a fairytale, nd most of all she doesnt see the world yet. She is yet to see how cruel our world can get? And she is slowly evolving as a person who is accepting that nothing is exactly the same as we see. Yash betrayal was the first blow.
See she needs to grow but that's the purpose of a show, a character. we the audience would never like her if she stays the same from the start to the end, we need change... And if she was someone who see all the fault of the worlds, then to where she will grow? A character needs growth and i think CVs are doing a nice job in that sense, they are showing how Zoya will fight her own for her existence.
