With you all along - Mahi is terrible.. Adi's wounds run deep.. Zoya is coping with her trauma by busying herself with the company.. And Adi is using Zoya as a mechanism to keep himself going.. for want of better words..

And I will tell u where my reaction is coming from.. and yes I took his monologue at face value and did not read between the lines, if there was one.. Outright he says, Mahi is Zoya's weakness and he will make Mahi his biggest strength and thereby get Zoya to come closer..

that unfortunately did not lend itself, at least to me, as to the implied meaning that he was gonna see to it that he will do as he said to Mahi, or keep Mahi close to protect Zoya or anything else.. it sounded more like a game.. a cat and mouse game.. where the mouse is zoya and cheese, mahi.

And again, from the point of an act, I cant condone it..

And no that is not what I said as you summarized. What I did was an analysis of the characters in question. And if you read my analysis you will realize that aditya hooda is

A. Not manipulative

B. A very nice person (remember Bella and how he couldn't ruin her event? Remember how he went after zoya despite having been shattered by the divorce papers?)

My analysis cannot be so easily brushed off because it leads to my next point

Aditya Hooda never said he would not save mahi (as he puts it). Yes he will make Mahi his strength. He has a plan for her. But he will not hurt her in the way you are thinking. He will either

A. Expose her. Which is just. Do not forget that making your enemy feel comfortable and then striking is a tactic often employed in many areas. Be it lawyers, army, police. That is one interpretation of the scene in discussion
B. Actually try to change her. Did you not see his face when he said I know how situations can make you be the bad guy when you are not? That was honest. This is my personal analysis of the scene. He will help her. He will do it have zoya's attention yes. But he will do it nonetheless. He will help her change. To let go of the hate. But he will not succeed because mahi is in love and when she finds out that it is for zoya she will lash out at both.

Now in either case aditya is not wrong. In the first scenario he is finally entering the game and putting a stop to it.

In the second he is killing two birds with a stone. Why on earth would he approach mahi with any different motivation? He has seen first hand what she is capable of. Would you be saying all this is mahi had succeeded in her plan and set goons on zoya? Or if mahi had not fallen in love with him? The only reason why this scene is bringing out a reaction in everyone is because we saw mahi being vulnerable for once. But it is not good enough for me to empathize with her. She deserves having her heart trodden on because of what she tried with zoya. That was the worst possible thing. What if those goons had done whateer they pleased? Would you still say this I wonder?

I get that he wants to help Zoya come out of her trauma, especially after he seeing her almost taking her own life, but this is not the way to do it. Instead he keeps irritating her more and more

This is not abt Mahi at all, although I do not agree with the method that Aditya is using, becoz he has no idea in what kind of shit he will put himself and drag Zoya along in it too.

This is abt Zoya...when Aditya was going through his own ordeal, he was acting like a lunatic, did not want to listen to anyone and wanted to be left alone.

Why can't he respect that with Zoya as well ??? If she wants to be left alone, than so be it !!!

At least she is trying to get her life back together...why keep irritating her all the time ???

why is he so damn hellbent on getting her reaction ??? Reaction on what actually ????

This behaviour of Aditya is not even cute anymore...its just plain selfish and ridiculous

Again you may be right.. the options A and B may be the routes CVs take.. or they might just pull a C - which is Adi toying with Mahi for fun.. to get Zo's reaction..

In the earlier epi too, before the goons scene, we see that Adi got his first reaction from Zo when Mahi got hurt and that epi ends on the note of Adi saying Interesting.. that Zo should react that way for Mahi..

And today too, Zo goes all out on him, after she sees him with Mahi.. In adi's mind thats reaction again.. So now he takes Mahi into confidence and unbeknownst to her, with no intention of helping her, he uses her to irk zoya.. say like that SBB segment..

This is just another possibility..

P.S am not brushing off any analysis.. never realised this thread will attract such a barrage of analysis.. not that am complaining.. its been a great discussion so far.. 😊

And honestly we dunno what route cvs are gonna take.. lets wait and watch..

What she does with Zoya all the time, she deserves to know what it feels to get manipulated.. ofcourse she's not gonna learn any lesson but only get vengeful which will spice things up.. so Im ok 😊

Yes he did say interesting when mahi was hurt but to be honest, he hates her. She is repulsive to him. He knows all she has planned and done. He won't hold back in going after her BUT he is a gentleman. The entire point of the bella scene when he danced and saved the event was to show this. The fact that he saves zoya despite hating her initially continues to show he will never cross certain lines. Even if he is doing it for fun look at it from his point of view. He is unaware of mahi's feelings. He knows she set goons on zoya. Knows she wished zoya dead. Knows she would likely kick her out if given the chance. He does not know about her love. We the viewers see mahi's internal feelings so we can't help but feel bad. If mahi has not developed feelings no one would feel bad. But again as I've said: Aditya does not know. So he cannot be blamed if he ends up hurting her through this because in his mind she has no feelings to hurt from his harmless association and banter with her. All he plans on doing is irking zoya by simply being seen talking to mahi. He won't push her or harass her for crying out loud. He'll likely only find reasons to talk to her while zoya is around. Is that really such a heinous crime considering he is ignorant of mahi and her feelings. I feel it isn't

But like you said lets see where the CVs take this. They have not disappointed so far and I believe they won't.
