Zoya asked Aditya to get into the car and was going to open the door when she felt a grip on her hand. She turned as she found him looking at her with tenderess in his eyes. She never saw him so calm and gentle like this before. The not so pleasant conversation with his father was supposed to make him aggravated. But the man standing before her is seems to not even bother of whatever happened a few moments back.
Though they've been dating for months now, he was never malleable towards her. She was used to the stern and sharp gazes of him. And now the intensity oozing from his eyes is making her weak.
Zoya decided to open her mouth before she loses herself in those mahogany orbs. "You want to say something ?" She tried to hide the consciousness of her voice.
Aditya came out of his trance hearing her and shook his head in a no. "Can't I just hold your hand ?" He asked confused with his own gesture. He tried to read out those emotions on her face. Her face was something different with cheeks turned into crimson red which he wasn't sure if he could name as blush.
Zoya calmed her loping heart and giggled to see a confused Adi.
"You can. After all eklaute boyfriend ho aap humare." She winked.
Aditya chuckled as pulled her closer, taking her other hand in his. "Thanks for those words you said to Mr.Hooda."
"You don't have to thank me, Aditya." She squeezed his hands and smiled reassured. "Aab chalein ? I don't want to miss the movie." She chirped, making Aditya shake his head.
"Oh God ! Can you please cancel it ? I don't like Salman Khan." He almost pleaded.
"Haaww !" Her mouth agaped as the jaws dropped. "Thoda haat kya pakadne diya aap toh sarr pe chhad gaye. Humare samne humari Salman Khan ki burai kar rahe hain aap ?" She furrowed her eyebrows as if challenging him to not utter another word against her Salman Khan.
"Maine burai kab kiya ? Maine bass itna kaha ki mujhe woh pasand nehi." Aditya said in disbelief seeing her obsession for a fifty years old man.
"Par humein toh pasand hain." She said flipping her hairs. "Aab chalo aap. We're getting late. Aur haan !! Doobara humare Chulbul Pandey ke bare mein kuch mat kehna." She said pointing out a finger towards him as if trying to threaten.
"Wait a minute. Now who's this Chulbul Pandey ?" Asked Aditya a little offended, hearing his fiancee calling another man as HER Chulbul.
"Are Dabang nehi dekhi aapne ?" She was flabbergasted knowing her boyfriend, Zoya Siddique's boyfriend doesn't know who Chulbul Pandey is.
Aditya was scared for a moment to see her expression. He felf as if he doesn't know the name of the president of the country.
"Koyi baat nehi. I'll narrate you the the story of Dabang on the way." She said settling herself on the car.
When Aditya came back to home watching the movie, he was already having a headache. He was going to washroom when his phone started vibrating with Zoya's call.
"Reached home ?" Asked Zoya in a half drowsy voice.
"Yeah. Too tired I am ! Need to catch some sleep." He said deliberately, knowing if she start her blabberings, he won't be able cut the call for the next one hour.
"Theek hain. So jaiye. Even I'm feeling sleepy. Good night." Saying so she was going to cut the call but Aditya stopped her.
"Listen." He said not knowing if he should ask her or not.
"Yes ?"
"My friend Daniyal invited me to attend a party at his place tomorrow. Can you join me ?" He askd hesitating.
Yes, he wanted Zoya to accompany him. But the reason has changed now. He wants to introduce her to his friends. Not because he wants to show anything to Pooja. He wants Zoya to know about his past. Till the evening he wasn't sure whether he's interested in her or not. But now he knows, Zoya deserves to know everything about his life. She is with him without asking or expecting anything. And he shouldn't keep her in darkness. He will be giving a chance to their relation if Zoya decides to marry him, even after knowing everything. Maybe he cannot promise her the love she deserves. But he'll definitely give her all the happiness of the world.
Zoya was ready to join him to the party without a second word. It's the first time he's asking her to be with him and she cannot say a no.
The next evening when Aditya went to pick Zoya from her place, he couldn't take his eyes off her. She was looking celestial in a red off shoulder gown with her hair left open and no accessories except a pair of diamond studded top. She never needed makeup to look gorgeous. Her angelic smile was enough to make her more beautiful. Aditya wanted to compliment the beauty standing before him. But decided to keep his mouth shut until they talk about Pooja.
Zoya came to him and asked how she was looking. He simply ignored the question let alone saying something. It broke her heart. Was she looking so bad that he couldn't even say a simple word ? She kept murmuring all the way how unromantic her boyfriend was. Aditya listened to her self talking and chuckled realizing how dramatic she can be at times.
And when they reached the party Pooja was already there with someone who seemed to be her new boyfriend. Aditya felt disgusted realizing, he had almost stopped living a normal life for the woman who never cared about him. He held Zoya's hand and stepped towards his ex to introduce her with his fiancee.
