Apparently, Harshad-Shehban worked together in Humsafars (a beautiful show on Sony TV produced by Gul Khan, even there Harshad's character was betrayed by his wife & he was married before he fell for Aarzoo's character & Harshad-Shehban both fell for the female lead). This show however had only 106 episodes.
And Jennifer was originally offered that show to play the female lead. But ultimately Shivya Pathania played that character.
So, Jenni-Harshad were fated to star in a show as a lead couple back in 2015 & Shehban as an important character in their love story (even though Shehban is playing a dead character but still I like his pairing with Jenni (it's kind of friendly one & not intense)).
And since this is Colors show, so, it's more likely to run for longer duration.
