Before I talk of Aditya and Zoya, I would like to talk of 2 fathers
One is angry with his daughter and the other's son is angry with him

Zoya's father is upset with her but still stands by her in her pain

Aditya's father is more worried about painting a happy family picture even though

the family is completely broken

On the other hand, Zoya's in laws shun her and take Yash away from her, questioning her very right

To be with Yash and negating their relationship

But Aditya's family fully stands by Pooja and insist that Aditya too acknowledge his relationship

and complete the last rites

Aditya is oscillating between grief and anger - between love and hatred

Between memories of their happy times and images of her treachery

Zoya poor thing is still in pieces - she's still holding on to her faith and the memories of Yash

The ring, the glasses - which Zoya clings on to, Aditya gets a savage satisfaction in crushing it

For it had always been broken, and was thus not worth keeping

He was merely shattering what was any wAy broken

Hmm, what does Aditya's evil dad know?

Why is he interested in the diary ?

Who threw the diary in water?

The mystery deepens

The cops also are not ruling out the murder angle ...

The episode was once again intense and emotional

Aditya lashing out at Zoya - probably her faith and serenity ruffles him

Probably the sight of Zoya reminds him of Pooja's treachery

Since Yash and Pooja are beyond reach, Zoya is the easy target

First death drew them apart

Then infedility added another degree of separation

And today Yash family added another degree of separation between Yash and Zoya

By denying her even the right to participate in the last rites

But Zoya for all her softness and fraility is a girl of steel

And her love of Yash is her strength so she will leave the cocoon of her mayka

Brave the animosity of her sasural and brave her flight phobia

What does destiny have in store for Zoya and Aditya ?

There paths keep crossing

And their Rishta is a dard ka rishta

What was interesting to note was also that Zoya is afraid of flying and Aditya is a pilot

I will give it 10/10 again today !

Lovely to read your thoughts once again on a show I'm watching :)

A great start to the show. It draws the viewer in from the word go with the plethora of intrigue surrounding so many of the characters.

The departed duo's perfidy feels that much more stark when contrasted with the reactions of the surviving two. Be it in Adi's sense of betrayal or Zoya's sense of disbelief.

there is a connection between - the two opposites who fulfil each other. The high flier vs the aviophobic, they will find their way towards each other once they come out of this maze of pain, anger and anguish.

hello my dear, so good to meet you again.

A great start indeed, but then we know that Jen picks only the best, so her presence guarantees that it will be a great show.

interesting that you raise the departed duo's perfidy - I am not sure, somewhere Zoya's faith has got to me and I am hoping that the truth is something beyond the obvious - that zoya's and Aditya's love was not based on a farcical relationship.

Even the way the CVs have treated Yash and Pooja's corpse with dignity and respect - the chaste hand hold, the body in a dignified posture and the clean white sheets - unsullied and serene - I feel the message they are giving is that let us not be quick to condemn and discard like Aditya, lets hold on like zoya!
