She was very rude to Zoya in today's episode.

What gives her such pleasure don't know. Zoya was in pain and sitting and blaming her won't do any good. There is time and place for everything, guess some people never get it.

To be honest , they have every right to hate Zoya , so I find nothing wrong with it . Even Zoya's dad hates Yash to no end , even after his death , Mr. Siddique isn't sparing him at all but advising Zoya to forget Yash as a nightmare on the very day of his death , calling it closed chapter .
They rebelled against the families to get together , get married , so yup if you go against your family , it's on your family whether they accept your other half or not . No couple is entitled to have their families accept their chosen other half . It's completely within the right of that particular family to outright reject your chosen spouse .

But what is completely wrong , unethical , inhuman - was to snatch the right of a wife to be present on the occasion of the spouse's last rites and rituals , YOU CAN NOT DO THAT.

I swear it was heart breaking to see Zoya standing like an outsider , outside the gate , not being allowed to be there on the cremation of her own husband whom she loves to no end.

What I fail to understand is why she's so weak against the Aroras ?? She , being the legal spouse does not need their permission to be present during the last rites . It's her social , legal and ethical right.
