I for one am glad that there wasn't any OTT crying... it was subtle... I'm guessing no one in Adi's family processed the fact that the "Ghar ki bahu was dead... or they did and they aren't an emotional family like Zoya's. I mean the sister who brought the news to Zoya's parents were crying her eyes out na?

Also, I think a huge scene was not made due to the way the bodies were found. Had they made a crying drama at the hospital it will only attract more attention which none of them wanted...

I feel that it's quite common for everyone to cry in that situation...but here the makers r trying to do different as per the individual character...if u have noticed zoya's mother asked her husband to call Yash..he responded "Yash phone nahi utayega"...his expression also changed...so may be some mystery is there..or may be he normally said...but for audience some curiosity has been created ...as per as hooda family is concerned...they have some got similar situation in the past I guess...

I think its too early to talk about the emotions b/c even earlier in the first episode when puja talks about the whole "sach batana" you see aditya reacting in a very extreme manner. His expressions change from a 0 to 100 in a second.
His tolerance for lie in a relationship, thanks to his parents is next to 0. So his first reaction being anger than grief is not really surprising. All he can see rn is a woman who cheated on him, not his friend, not his lover, not his wife. His heart is being guarded by his anger and its only once his anger is gone that he will even think about her as someone who was someone very important to him.

And even puja's mothers reaction is some what as I have expected. She seems like someone who is equally close to both adi and puja so her conflict as a mother of both of them can be seen. She has questions for her daughter, as to why she did something or was it something else that they misunderstood. She has a lot of questions in her heart for puja along with the grief of her death, but then there is aditya in her mind too. Someone who is just as precious as her daughter to her, and if she knows aditya even 10% of what his parents know him, she knows whats in his heart and mind and what he's going through.

I'm not gonna talk about the rest b/c rn I gotta run. 😆

It's not necessary to scream , screech and shed 100 tears to mourn over someone.

i just watched it and i didnt find anything wrong with pooja's mum reaction, she seems in shock and totally broken adding on the guilt and shame for what her daughter did to adi. people handle things in different ways, some scream and cry and some and others dont. zoya's dad seems in line with his character, he never seemed to have attachment to yash and now knowing he cheated on her daughter i doubt he would bother with him, he seemed to care about zoya trying to make her understand.. i wouldnt say lack of emotions per se, everyone is dealing with it in their own way and also based on their attachment to yash and pooja whether its weak or strong

But why'd Aditya's family be grieving over a lying cheating DIL who put their family to shame and also hurt and betrayed the son of the family beyond imagination? ?? ( please note : it may or may not be EMA as we'll find out later. I'm talking about the current information available to the family. )

Going with the popular opinion...I feel puja 's mom is more shamed than grief stricken...

What I think is hooda family is that it is a damaged one, also they are rich and prestigious also always in the limelight. And they are not the ones who would show any emotions.. And they are also emotionally drained and have come to a point where they actually don't care..
See adi actually forgot the birthday of his wife whom he knows from when he was 12..she was his best friend and as well love of his life but he still forgot.. It shows that even though he loves her a lot still he is not bothered about these small things because that is how he has lived his life.. Everything around his so destroyed that he couldn't actually believe some thing good is in his life but still hoped.. Now that hope is destroyed..

About aditya's parents, his mother was more worried about her son because, he is the mourning one there so she wanted to consol him also they got to know about the situation and she who knows exactly how it feels was more worried about adi.

His father is an arsehole..

Pooja's mom I think she is in between acceptance and denial..

And about zoya's father it is shown that he is hurt but not because of his SIL because he cannot see Zoya like that and he wanted her to stop crying because he is also angry because Zoya is crying for some one who according to him doesn't deserve it..

But her mother and sister are hurt because of death as well as Zoya's situation..

Bottemlime every person is different, so there way of dealing with tragedy will also be different.. Some will break down no matter the place, some will find a corner where no one can see them breaking down, some will just sit and stare, when their head is filled with anguish and then some will lash out..

Here that is what I liked, not everyone standing in line and screaming.. So..

Ps: I mean no offense, it's just my pov..
