I drove the car, silently .
She was busy looking at the objects partially illuminated by the headlights.
I was staring at the road, but mentally all I could see was Aaliya.
From the corner of my eye,I saw her hair disturbing her beautiful eyes.
We didn't speak a word , maybe we both were enjoying this peculiar stillness.
We entered the beach . She took her heels off and held them in her hands.
I followed her. I took out my shoes and buried my feet in the soft cool sand.
We kept walking, aimlessly on the beach.
The waves kept crashing on the shore.
The dazzling light was obliterated from the vast vault called sky.
The smell of seaweed was making the atmosphere like heaven or maybe I could feel so, because she was besides me.
Nothing was yet uttered, sound of waves, screeching of seagulls were the only thuds heard.
We were engulfed by silence , not an intimidating stillness but an incomprehensible and pleasure-giving one.
But when her dark brown orbs met mine, I felt a strange completeness.
This was the best way of communication, through eyes.
She then gazed back at her buried feet.
None of us felt like going back .No fatigue, no excuses, no drowsiness, nothing.
I felt like all the frets were drowned in the vast open ocean.

We sat down besides the shore.
In the moonlight, her face was looking more alluring than usual.
There were two seagulls near a rock that just half a mile away from us.
She was staring at them and my eyes were glaring her.
Just then I realized how beautiful her eyes were.
They were reflecting what they saw.
A canopy of luminous stars shining in the clear dark sky, vast extensive ocean , all were seen clearly in her eyes.
I was staring at her with my jaw dropped when I realized that he was giggling.
I was back to reality , I felt that she was laughing at me but she was laughing at those two pretty seagulls.
I was again mesmerized by this moon sitting in front of me.I just thanked Allah for her and asked to keep her happy always.
Just staring at her made me forget everything, I was numb,not feeling anything.
We didn't utter a word yet, and then to we were contented.
Our silence was singing, humming a beautiful melody, that was just palpable to us.

The half moon was under the siege of white illuminated stars.
Making her happy was my wish, but making her cry with joyful tears was my dream.
This night was a flawless night, I never imagined such a magnificent night with a girl.
But they say life is too short, so I closed my eyes to soak these perfect moments.
When I opened my eyes, I met them once again.
They were teaching me the language of silence, I decided to grasp them by silently staring in them.
But then they broke this beautiful connection as we heard my phone's beep.
Our family ws worried about us.
We were about to get back when I told her to walk ahead.
She just nodded and went .
I quickly took a small pebble and carved ZAYA on the rock that was half a mile far. I smiled on my antics and ran to catch her pace.
We went back to the car, yet not breaking the silence.
And then again the silent car journey was observed.
The only things in my mind were the beautiful night spent with her.
The lessons she gave me that is the lesson of silence.
The lesson of unsaid word, the lesson of communication through eyes.
