She sensed him somehow. She always does.
Scowling,she pushed the paper down her bag.
He made a face.

"So,how was your math test?" He asked Zubair.
"B+"
"Oh, sorry."
Zubair rolled his eyes.
"No,you are not."
"No, I am not." He admitted,bouncing on the balls of his feet,grinning.
"So,umm.." he said,hovering around Zubair.
"Hmm?" He asked,checking out the new arrivals in the library.
"How much in chem?"
Zubair sighed. "A-"
"Oh,we got the same."
"Yeah."
"And sofia?" He asked.
"Sofia?"
"Yeah,Haider's best friend?"
"She got an A+ in chem and math both."
"Really?" Zain asked surprised. "I thought she was a bit.."
"Not sofia, Aliya."
"Wh-what? Who said anything about Haider?"
Zubair turned around,his patience at the end.
These two will drive him crazy for sure.
Perhaps Zain sensed his irritation cause he grumbled "Fine"
And the rest of the day,all he did was grumble and groan.
He did not give a rat's fart about his chem marks. He knew he hadn't prepared for it.
But she got an A+ in math. Same as him.
The only subject he liked, the only he worked for and the only one he topped in.
And she had to take that away too,he thought,bitterly.
He hated that Aliya Ghulam Haider thought she was smarter than him.
He loathed the fact that it was true.
