so back with the acting analysis
pls note that i'm talking about the actors and not characters
on the whole, today all the actors were amazing! each of them doing their role perfectly well
so i will individually comment only on amazing good ones today, the others, its understood, they were good in their roles and did perfect justice which includes Nandish,Riva,Rituraj sir, Namrata,Gunjan,Shivangi and Vikas
i have this strange habbit of keeping the best for the last..
so start with
Preetika
she was as usual fab but i don't know why but her performance today was ...inconsistent?or should i blame the editors? the beach scene was just fabulous! the tint of chirpiness in the first few lines about their chilhood and the seriousness when she spoke about Zain's dilemma and declaring him as her maami's son first. it was wonderful but when it came to the reactions to what suraiyya was speaking. i don't know why but i did not find it that good! or am i used to her being brilliant? i don't know! but even there, i liked her reaction when suri said that she shld not interfere in her talks. the was she looked at zain for a millisecond...that was beautiful. and once her lines started, as usual, she was beyond words...each line sounding so pure, eyes full of pain! Kudos to her! teri galliyaan,i better not say anything...it would be less...after that, her phone conversation , speaking to rehan or handling her parents, she aced them all! great job preetika

OMG this lady! as someone told yesterday, she is a born actor! he disgusting narrow minded MIL or the pained mother, she did every scene to perfection! especially the dialogue of "usman saab ki izzat aur hifasat" and scolding aliya for speaking between her and her son! i just LOVED her voice modulation! and that look of a perfect bi**h that she carried! its very difficult..very very difficult. we know how good she is in real life and to do such a role is a real challenge and she has done it perfectly. take a bow ma'am. but what i liked more was her expressions after zain's monologue! "mera zain! mera beta!" she nailed it! all i can do is salute her!

don't get me talking. i can go on forever! perfection is a word too small!
but for the sake of it, let me point out
the beach--> the first "oh really" look when Aliya was speaking about their childhood and his harkatein! killer! then he smiles when she says she can also find him...was that not heart touching? And then the real part, him expressing Zain's dilemma and frustration. The way he just looks into the sea and vents out whatever zain was going through! The trouble in zain's heart was so clearly visible on Harshad's face
then they come home to find suraiyya blocking aliya's way. He aced this scene. Zain definitely loves his parents but loves Aliya too.each dialogue was so well said.but my fav. was "aur humara rishta, uska kya?" and that lone tear that escapes his eye! Words fall short! Right from the second Aliya takes the "kasam", the pain in those eyes was evident.yah I know they were not tears but glycerin but I also know that glycerin can only give tears and not expressions! Take a bow Harshad!
What came after? teri galliyaan! man! he is something! did he do anything other than stare to infinity? I still cried!and the first phone convo- the care was just so evident and the "i cannot promise but will try"! uff!
the monologue to the chudails- a son who is distressed by his mother's behaviour towards his wife!-just don't get me talking! just don't! his voice is the 2nd best thing about him!1st, of course his eyes!
then of course the last phone conversation! He was so worried, wasn't he? But the assurance in his voice and eyes and the very stance put forth zain's emotions so well! But what was more, the last 2 seconds of the show! The tear that flowed out of the pained determines eyes onto the clenched jaw! Kill me someone!
I very well know that I did not do justice to Harshad's acting today but if I had to write all that I felt, this would become Harshad AT! So sorry...
