Anger over Mind.
Ayat lied and came to Mumbai.
Ayat came as an escort- forced to be one.
Ayat was wearing a revealing dress.
How easy it is to judge others by their actions and oneself by intentions.
Aliya had nearly done the same at the party. But with pride. Because her intentions were good. But Ayat, how could she do something like that?
The answer to Aliya's dilemma, her hurt, her dismay- Ayat's truth was simple. Aliya didn't have to reveal Ayat's mistakes, her sin infront of a group of people, she could have spoken to Ayat in private, asked her of her intentions, confirmed her belief in Ayat. She could look out for her, care for her, be the best sister she is to her.
The only thought which now comes in my mind. CV's what have you done?
In the precap Aliya was confronting Ayat in front of Zain and Rizwan...both of whom were a part of the secret. That was good!
But to humiliate Ayat, to slap her, to reveal her secret/sin/mistake publicly. That is Not Good. Because it doesn't stand true to who Aliya is. Or is this Aliya.
In the precap as we see Suraiyyah has turned and twisted the matter to her pleasure.
Had Aliya dealt with this situation in a mature manner, things wouldn't have turned this ugly. CV's I am disappointed.
Zain was right, what are you doing Aliya? Had she but listened. Trusted him. That the Wrong had now been dealt with, and turned Good. That Ayat had learned her lesson. That Allah had covered the matters for Ayat. She accused him of not telling her, he had promised Ayat and he kept his promise.
I will end the post with an Islamic teaching.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah will cover up on the Day of Resurrection the defects (i.e. faults) of the one who covers up the faults of the others in this world." [Narrated by Muslim]
