Yes...I have some problems with Zain's current behaviour.
No...I do not think Zain is in love. Nor is that my issue :)
My first issue was with him discarding the calendar. That in itself says that he is ready to put aside his aversion to this nikaah. Temporarily or permanently is of no consequence to me...because it comes down to one & the same thing.
In this nikaah...Zain was the one more against it. Aliya was unhappy, for getting a life partner who was immature & irresponsible in her eyes & not at all like her Prince Charming. But she had accepted it, as her Destiny, as Allah ki marzi. She always retaliated to Zain...itherwise she has always tried to fulfil this marriage because of her ideals.
Zain had on the other hand ISSUES & butterness. Ones which did not exist before the nikaah, hence there being no reason as to why the charmer in him would resist from flirting all over Bhopal with Aliya. But the nikaah brought in a lot of bitterness. Regarding his father choosing Aliya over his feelings, Aliya taking his future in her hands & then breaking her promise, the loss of his freedom & her forcefull interference in his life. All this I am referencing to with regards to Zain's Walimah outburst as well as others such as when Aliya poured down his drink or changed his room. And so we see a hidden intenser side to him, one which stubbornly refused to back down even at the words of the personwhom he loved the most.
And now...the aversion is gone? He's ready to give a chance to this marriage, test the waters? If so...I really cannot find one incident to combat the intensity which I saw in the Walimah which would make him back down from his stand. The Fahad issue tou definitely won't be one. It was in no way related to his personal issues, which had made him want to dissolve the marriage so to me it really doesn't make sense that he would give in to this marriage for that matter 😳. I do not see the sense in him accepting Aliya as his wife in any way at this point in the track. I do not see any such incident worthy enough for this turning point since the tine he said "Main aisi cheezon ko muh nahin lagata".
Apart from ZaYa...it was Zain Abdullah who had me most intrigued in BI due to his LAYERS. But such inconsistencies mess up a lot of those & that does upset me. I had perhaps too high hopes seing the past execution of the CVs 😆 That's all :)
