To begin with, may I just say hats off to Preetika and Harshad!
Today, I just realized what a threat they could be to other fandoms. By the way, is fandom a word? It's showing a red line underneath. 🤔 Hmmm ... Back to what I was saying. I don't know if ya realize, but have been friendly with most fan groups. I think. Or maybe it's my misconception. Got a really bad reality check today. I'm mostly a drifter. 😆 with true intentions and love, however long it stays in here: ❤️
Let me speak generally, if I may. No offence, heh. I was noticing how there are certain fan groups who are coming across looking quite nervous and sweating. But you have to feel it. They won't show it to ya. 😉 It makes me wonder, what magic Harsika suddenly has on all of us that they have turned everything upside down in only months time?
If I personally talk about my experience, I did not start watching BI until it was a month's old. Or 1/2. Don't remember. I was one of the few who said Harshad does not look like a lead material at all. I was honest. But I guess, I have to keep on reminding myself not to judge a book by its cover. I should know better, seeing I'm a book worm. I guess, some habits die hard.
I don't know what I saw in Harsika, to be honest. I'm very choosy, Definitely not their looks. Mostly that's how it starts - with me at least. I think, it was one of those moments when you hear makers tell you, when you ask what you saw in a certain actor: I saw something, saw potential. Otherwise, I'm a criticizer. *Shrugs* It wouldn't have been too hard for me to bash em.
I'm a fan, but I try not to be a biased one. I like to believe so. I don't mind if two of my favourites end up competing with each other. What's the point of me being a fan of someone if I lack the confidence in them or scared of competition for them?
It's always said that hatred or dislike is the best form of flattery. And this hatred is in itself speaking about their success. I wonder the grudges we hold against other fan groups, do our favourites carry the same load against their fellow mates. Never mind!
A piece of advice: Don't act like adopted parents of the stars. It's entertainment and entertain yourself with varieties. Don't keep chewing the same food again and again, it looses taste. Free of advice. It's not like I'm paying tax on it! 😆
