Aaliya is a classy character, with a handful of spunk added.
So, I agree Nia could have been good choice for the spunky bit, but I'm glad Preetika grabbed this one up. She portrays the character perfectly & brings the much needed balance between subtelty, shyness and vivaciousness of Aaliya.
Plus, the USP of BI, is the freshness that the leads bring to it. Both are fresh & new to the Indian tv industry. Thus, I'm happy that Harshad & Preetika were chosen for Zain & Aaliya.
