Okay so let me wipe my real wale glycerine-free tears off before proceeding to say that I love Preetika so.so.so. much. I can't see Aaliya being treated like this!! I should've been prepared, but it's Preetika's fault for looking sooo innocent and angelic and being an excellent actress.
Her eyes, have so much of curiosity and helplessness in them that you can't stop yourself from believing that Aaliya is real & that she needs your support 😆
She picked up her heavy bag and wandered around the house looking for a place in a house that she is tied to because of a beautiful ritual called a Nikaah, but is given treatment worse than a keep.
To add to that, Zain becoming restless and curious on seeing her outside and the heart touching Beintehaa BG score brought tears to my eyes.
Some foreshadowing was done too with Suraiya saying that SHE made the puppy run away, and Zain saying " The puppy never came back". I know that in the show a day will come when Aaliya too will leave Zain and not return for a long time..Zain won't be able to figure out why, and will take it as betrayal while only Aaliya and Suraiya will know why Aaliya left him. I am waiting for that day because as they say "absence makes the heart grow fonder."
Love Preetika & Harshad for accepting these roles, and making BI my most favorite Indian TV drama ever. No matter what happens from here onwards, even if I don't like it, BI will always be my baby lol. It pulled the right heart strings in a very short span of time.
