I just hate the way BEINTEEHA is shaping out. I seriously thought that BEINTEEHA was going to be a unique love story. The way their marriage and love would happen would be all different from what has happened in other serial but nooo same story
1. Hate marriage somehow( doesn't really matter how)
2. Hero expresses his hatred in suhaag raat
3. Hero tries his best to make his wife's life like hell
4. Succeeds actually.. Hurts her wife in all possible ways
5 eventually falls in live
6. The end

Paragraph has been deleted as it was comparing shows, this not allowed according to the forum rules

Leviathan

This theme has been over used. Please directors, writers and producers leave this theme now.
All the things I mentioned above will happen in BEINTEEHA too just wait and watch
I heard a spoiler that alia will be blamed for stealing. Zain will appear drunk on wilema. What fazool
concept is this.

Hence I quit BEINTEEHA
I know everyone is gonna bash me on what I said.. But that us truth and the truth is always bitter

There are water tight compartments to what you can do on TV...
However, the treatment of the same cliche stuff in this show has been well executed...atleast they are trying..

Path breaking shows like 'Rishta.com', 'Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai' were shut down coz of low trps...at the end of the day the makers make shows for money and fame...in exchange for entertainment..we all knew they will take the similar track sooner or later...coz this is what works on TV...They wont want their show taken off air in 4 months right?

BI is way better than shows like Saathiya, DABH and other such shows...

Why TV...even films churn out trash like 'Dabangg' and 'Chennai Express' which do better than films like 'Lunchbox'. If this is the audience attitude then what can makers do...there are only a handful from the audience who give new things a shot..Even if you try to be different the TRPS make the channel interfere in your content...I know Colors does that to every show.

Having said that if you do not agree then you should quit...no point watching a show which annoys you..I will watch this show till it interests me and the day it doesnt, I will quit...

You have some validity to your points.

It is tried and true formula for this kind of story.

The difference is that Aliya is a modern and spunky girl for now. She knows what she has gotten herself into and is ready to deal with it , I hope differently than other shows.

I wish she keeps her spirit and guts to deal with her husband , her mother-in-law and sis-in-law because all of these people are going to create a problem for her.

If all the same old problems are not handled uniquely then your title to this topic will be right...
That this too is a BAKWAS STORY.

I won't bash you personallyšŸ˜† Its completely your opinions regarding the show 😳

I disagree with you though. I have seen IPK & MB hate marriages. Khushi being made to sleep by the poolside in the cold & Madhu being dragged like a rag doll around for her pheras by a drunk guy 🄱 Yeah...the 'hate marriage' concept isn't new. But are there really new concepts on Indian TB anymore. Not really...which is why, IMO presentation of the track is important.

And I have personally been blown away by the presentation. To begin with, the promos itself spoke of a hate marriage. It was a given from the start. Secondly, Zain isn't the manhandling types. Also, He's being difficult & playing pranks, but so far, I don't see the kind of torture we see other male leads though. And unlike other leading ladies, Aliya knows how to give it back, & her actions speak for it.

And lastly, they have kept their Tom & Jerry essence intact. Quite different from the usual toxic atmosphere in hate marriages. I peesonally think CVs are doing a commendable job, making a cliche track so enjoyable. Baaki whether you want to watch or not is your call :)

Yes it is a hate-love story but in a different way. All those shows you mentioned, had an angry boy and a shy quiet girl despite knowing everything just kept quiet like a statue and cry there and I just felt like smashing there face!!
But Zain isn't an angry type. He is a fun, loving, cute guy while Aliya is an independent, sweet and stands for her rights. Khushi, Madhubala, Geet e.t.c. never stood for their rights and as I said they stood like a statue and cried!!

The hate marriage is shown from the first promo itself so no surprise about it. The above mentioned shows had hate marriages and that is the only common thing but other than that the main leads had characterization and their complexity differs . The situation and their background story varies and more than that I feel beintehaa concept is different not just hate marriage . The female leads never stood strong to fight back which is so far not the same with Aliya . Aliya slapped zeshan and she stood in front of people defending her family and self in her own nikah .
For some reason I feel they will take it like Humsafar and if that happens it's going to be really interesting .
This is my thought and I feel it's too early to judge the show .

Your opinions are very much justified, there is not much to watch on tv then nowadays
Either there are love stories that have the concept of intense hate then love or then there are concepts of family /Saas -bahu dramas. The novelty factor has been missing on T.V
Coming to this show, yes it has the tired formula of love-hate but there are so many differences, the way the story is being executed, the leads, the other characters in the show have importance too.
The hate concept in this show is not that rigid, the guy is not pushing her around and the girl is not taking it simply.

Beintehaa is like old wine in a new bottle. But the bottle has a flavor of its own and adds to the wine making it taste better. In the shows, you mentioned, the male lead hated the girl because of her socioeconomic status, do we see Zain doing that despite being the son of a business tycoon ? No. That alone makes BI much better than disguisting shows made in India which target a particular group of people in the name of fiction.

EDIT : All of the shows u mentioned had a similar theme- Guy bothering girl because his past was horrible šŸ˜† Zain is more normal here.

^All of you already wrote what I felt.. šŸ˜†
Going by the promos, I guess everyone maybe knew that they were going to marry to each other without fully consenting to it.. Agree its a hate/forced marriage.. Concept wise and the basis of the story is the same. The only difference is the way the story is being managed and the characters.

Well that's basically what everyone else said šŸ˜†
