I understand what you're saying about how she might want a foothold in the family because of the way she is treated by her mother-in-law, but I don't think Shazia actually cares about that at all. I think she's just greedy, and wants her sister to be married to a rich guy.

As for people saying that Fahad was trapped, that's just silly, unless he was drugged and she did something to him, or if she just pretended she was pregnant etc. and he couldn't do anything about it, then he is equally at fault. So far I get the impression he got together with Shazia on his own accord, and she just trapped him by seducing him. He was the married one, so he should've pushed her away.

Another possibilty is that he wanted a son, and Nafeesa couldn't give him one, and Shazia knew this and used it to her advantage. Once again, although it shows how desperate she was to get him, it would also show how weak he is that he gave in.

On a side note, is it just me or does anyone else think that Shazia and Fahad resemble each other?😆

Again, how has she trapped the married man? Did she drug him? Sure she herself commended herself for it, but that's the problem. Fahad was the married man with two children. He himself gave in to Shazia. That will be the difference between Fahad and Zain. Aside from the fact that Zain would never be attracted to Gauhar anyway (maybe they should've made Gauhar someone Zain was more likely to be attracted to, to even make Shazia's devious plans even a bit believable), Gauhar won't be able to "trap" Zain, the way Shazia was able to "trap" Fahad.

And if the makers try to go the drugged route, that's pretty sick. But I feel they will go that route because there is no way Zain would even be attracted to Gauhar. However that wouldn't mean Shazia took that route. I don't think she did, but hey it wouldn't surprise me if they were to reveal that--in order to absolve the man of his own part in the mess.🥱

As for why Suraiya treats her badly. Then she shouldn't have been for the marriage. I'm sure there will be some tweaking so that Suraiya had no choice in the matter but to agree for the marriage--but that's not how it was portrayed to us at first. Suraiya too saw some upsides so wanted/agreed with the marriage while Osman was against it. And if it was because Shazia was pregnant, Osman wouldn't have pointed the finger at Suraiya in the early episodes. But as I said, I'm sure we will see that soon--that Shazia trapped him through pregnancy, even though it wouldn't flow with what we saw earlier.

By the way, I completely agree that Shazia and her family are greedy, manipulative and cunning. I am just saying Suraiya and Fahad are also responsible.
