On Indian TV there have been few Muslim Shows Like as follows

1 Heena...No idea of story but it had Juhi Parmar

2 Naam Gum Jaayega :- Baby swapping..Girl born in Hindu Family is brought up by Muslim Family and vice versa..

3 Khwaish ..:- Typical Ekta Kapoor Stuff based on Dubai

4 Mehr..:- Two twin sisters and their story Aired on Doordarshan

5 Qubool Hai...:- Its on air on Zee

If we compare above shows..Beintehaa looks fresh nd different with unique storyline

I think she talks about QH as it is currently on air too and the only other Muslim serial after beinthaa
I watch both QH and Beinthehaa but there are no similarities
Both are different in their own way :)

Nope. Nothing.

There is nothing new about this show.

It's the same thing over and over again.

The main leads fighting like always ! Family drama, girl get's engaged to the wrong guy, then they find out he was after money, then the truth comes out in front of everyone, then the engagement breaks, then the parents start crying, acting like there are no boys in the world for their daughter, then either the mother faints or the dad has a heart attack because of shock and the girl sacrifices her own happiness for her parents, then the boy girl agree to get forcefully married just to please their parents,
and then after a few ups and downs, they will fall in love ! 😆 😆

Pretty predictable, really.

There's nothing "unique" about this show.

no simone singh was in heena (mainly story of talakh of girl)

there was a show called shaheen of juhi parmar whose director or script writer was gul khan(love story of a man with his second wife)

there was one more show named zannat (a girl married her jeeju as her sister could not become mother)

The most obvious things is that the leads are cousins which hasn't been shown in other Muslim shows.

They are actually showing the real intricacies of getting married within the family such as the Maami ( Zain's Mom ) being mean to Aaliya before and after the wedding ( I have 2 who are super mean, the other 2 are alright LOL ) . some cultures think it's safer to wed their girls within the family, but trust me, it leads to more problems. Hopefully they will tap into them, but I think the things Suraiya will do are quite predictable..They should have maintained some suspense about her intentions. Like they did in Humsafar and like they do in most Paki shows...

Suraiya not wanting Usman to get close to his family ( typical of Indian wives, no offense, I know everyone isn't like that b/c I won't be that sorta wife but just in general).

They are showing how difficult things can get for Muslim women when they get close to their guy cousins even in a friendly or familial way. In this case, it was intended flirting and all by Zain, but sometimes, people do talk when when we just chill with guy cousins our age frequently. They brought that out well, which was the most realistic part of the show for me.

Although it is a hate marriage, the premises on which it is based is so different from other love-hate stories. Alia-Zain are well balanced people...Zain is not an extreme anti-hero with arrogance and a bad temper. He can be fun too . Aaliya is not a too cultured girl who always talks about what is right and wrong. She is more youthful and doesn't act like typical leads who look way older than what they are because of giving too many lectures and over acting. This last paragraph is just my opinion, but the above 3 paragraphs are the truth lol.

Agree with all points...But it depends of treatment of storyline...
Have u seen a carefree Male Lead with bindass atitude??...No
Have u seen strong Female Lead who slaps the Groom on D Day ??..No

So i think wat matter is how the story is presented..and i feel Cvs of Beintehaa are doing Pretty Good Job...Even Cliched scenes are presented in Unique way😛

@bold- Hey!! WHAT ?! Omg they really showed that ? I am sorry for this extreme reaction, but OMG!!! Did you know that one man CANNOT marry 2 sisters ? even if he practices polygamy, it is absolutely forbidden for his wives to be real sisters. Why on earth would they show that ?!! 😆 Just when I though QH and BI lack logic in showing Muslim culture, I get to see this, WOW hahha, Now I'll value and appreciate BI more than I already do LOL!!
