Even i was surprised coz i thought Nafeesa was the one who might get along with Aliya...

however, i eventually think what might happen is that...

Nafeesa is insecure coz while the MIL is classy like her, the grandson was given by 'the other woman' so doesnt want to run the risk of standing out in any way.

Possibly her dislike of small town women who supposedly trap people into marriage might be coz of what happened in her own case.

However, somehow i feel hers is an insecurity that can be overcome, Shaziya, the one who is greedy will be the one more irritated. I feel she will become friends with Aliya for 2 reasons, 1 that Aliya will stand up for women's right and the second (dont kill me but i feel this could be a possibility though i wouldnt like it AT ALL) is that Suraiyya might want Zain married again and then Nafeesa & Aliya might bond over being the 'first wives'

she is only agreeing to whatever suraiya says, because she has to have her favor her over the other wife. but deep down, she hates suraiya for getting his son to marry again. That's what I think.

exactly I was thinking the same

I like her as she has alreadr sufered and her husband remarried because she has no boy

If ever Suraiya wants to marry Zain again she will sympathise with her

she has been hurt by her mother in law, she knows that her father in law was probably against the idea, she is waiting for the right time to come, she no longer considers them family understandable too.

I was baffled by her response too. But remember in one of the first few episodes she asked Suraiya to separate her and Fahad. She is still pissed and feels betrayed by Fahad's second marriage and I think since then doesnt consider the Abdullah family her own.

But I find her character very interesting and I think its not going to be one of those black and white characters. She is a complex woman.

But I kind of see her having a good bond with Aaliya down the road. I dont know why.

I don't think she genuinely cares abt fahad's family anymore... she may suck up to suraiya and may have her reasons for doing so but in actual terms I don't think she likes suraiya either cos lets face it its becos of suraiya she's having 2 share her hubby with another woman. maybe deep down she's never really forgiven her in laws for getting her hubby married again.
