Zaya Drabble: Honeymoon Days- Day 9(E)

"Zain, are we going to their party tomorrow?" Aliya asked him, on their way to dinner. She was pretty much drained out due to all the walking so Zain had called in a car for them.

"Aliya, we're going to Dad's friend's party so no. But, they will be there because it's Jhanvi's dad who is hosting the party for his anniversary with auntie," Zain explained.

"Oh nice, I had fun with them. They even showed me that b'day party of yours where you turned Santa Claus because of all that cake. I must say, you were looking really old. You couldn't even save yourself from cake. How sad Zain!" she mocked him, a genuine smile gracing her face.

Just then, they reached the restaurant. They got down and Zain told her, "Aliya, I was 10 back then. Really, like really, you expect me to "save myself" from the cake. I was surrounded by them all and it was one against the 40 odd people there. I didn't know you had such high expectations from me."

"Zain, I still thought you're stronger than that. Guess I was wrong," she sighed.

Just then, Zain lifted her up and carried her into their private booth with everyone staring at them. He put her down and told her, "Now can you see my strength wifey?" and then winked at her.

There, that's done!

Sorry hun! I haven't been commenting daily... Got held up at personal front...

Anyway, caught up in all parts yesterday and must say, LOVED them!! I really like how this is going day by day and slow, BUT at the same time, SO much is happening!!

You're doing a wonderful job with this! Keep writing!! I know this is just one comment but since you have been saying you want the thread completed... I guess even one comment is better than 0 😳

PS: I was one of the one's who didn't get that 'straight' wala joke.. but chaddo, don't tell me. I have a feeling i'm better off not knowing 😆
