Astha Mehra (Shiju Kataria) will find herself in double trouble in the coming episodes of Behnein. Astha's husband Karan (Karan Mehra) will be accused of killing Jigna (Bhavesh's sister) while it will be revealed that Astha is Smriti.
A source says, "Karan is scared ever since he has heard about Kshitij having evidence in Jigna's murder case which will prove Shamal's innocence. Karan is the real culprit in this case but is blaming Shamal for it. Eventually Kshitij will put forward some shocking facts and evidence in front of the court and Karan will get punished for his sins. However Astha is shocked to know this fact, she doesn't know what to do. In this high dramatic situation Astha loses her control and her big secret will come out in the open that she is not Astha but Smriti. She was hiding her identity so that her sister Purva can remain happily married to her husband Mihir. It would be a tricky situation for Mihir as he was in love with Smriti. The couple got married too. And when Smriti was found dead he married her elder sister Purva. Now he does not know with whom he should stay as legally both sisters are his wives," the source adds.
Shiju says, "Yes this track will happen but I think it will take some time for Astha to reveal her identity as the focus of the story is currently on Karan and Jigna's murder case."
