Love your post! I was so thrilled with today's episode, of course minus Laakhan's slap. I did not seeing that coming but I was pleasantly surprised that PT caught on to it and that Guddi opened her mouth. 😃
I don't know but I personally see chemistry, love, and a potential for Poonam and Priyom but again that's only possible with Priyom goes on fire. We've seen the turmoil when Poonam was about to get married but still there needs to be something else for him to see what he's losing.

Why are you heartbroken... Now the real triangle will kickstart...cause none of us as women would want Poonam to end up with a monster like that...Poonam may fall for Priyom, but I have serious doubts whether Priyom will..and as far as Lakhan is concerned , he will not let go of Poonam so easily..if earlier it was ownership problem, now it will be possession problem...

And phoolan, he completely steal the show..he rightly said that if you guys dont speak today, thn anything wrong happens to poonam in future, thn only you are responsible...and guddi you did it... 👏 and precap is super exciiting

Laakhan deserves this punishment..but i dont want phoolan to forget and leave laakhan to be manipulated by anyone else... he should talk to him.. coz laakhan as a character also reached at dead end, he got punishment in his own style..til for tat..but defo he will be angry for his insult...though he desreves it but as it infront of everyone..i dont care about everyone but mithilesh rekha presence not giving good vibes...as mithilesh will taynt him and rekha will try to manipulate him..both will turn laakhan evil...
So after punishment, if he get good company like priyom then still there are chances that he will learn from this punishment but if he get chuniya, mithu or rekha company,, thn i can say no hope left..

I expect more shades of this character but cvs are happy to make him a complete black character.. where this character will go, will be decided in next week...
thn pripoo couple is not of my interest .. but defo laalhan will loose his ownership.on poonam ..eithrr their marriage called off or suspended till poonam agree..

And what will phoolan do when he came to know about Ema of mithilesh... hope rekha will not poison his son ..ufff... why even i expect from cvs to show more shades of laakhan..my hope ka dead end is next week... keeping my hope low

I think this is where Poonam's brother steps in...cause as we can see it, Lakhan and Poonam's relationship has hit rock bottom..either it could go in deeper or can be salvaged from rock bottom. If Lakhan does change, they will have to work really hard to do so...cause we always have seen grey heroes like Arnav, Shlok, Rudra and so on, who mistreated their better halves, because they had some past damage...but till now they haven't shown anything like that with Lakhan.

Thanks dear...Yes it was a breakthrough episode for both Poonam and Phoolan, as characters. Poonam voiced out her grievance before Lakhan in her own way and Guddi did it in Thakur style. Well frankly, I don't see any chemistry other than buddyship between Priyom and Poonam..I like them that way. I would actually love to see friendship of these three dark horses- Lakhan, Poonam and Priyom.

Arnav (IPKKND - S1), Shloke (IPKKND - S2), Raghav (EMA), Arjun (KMH - S1), Sujal (KTH), Rudra (RR) and many more are the examples of male protagonists hoisting their strengths by executing either mental or physical violence or both against their female counterparts !!! Lakhan is the latest addition to this never ending list and I expect that there would be many more in future (This is one of the reasons why I try to keep a distance from so called love-stories.). Invariably the reason or logic being provided (by the creatives) for this unacceptable behaviour is the respective hero's dukhbhari or abusive past !!! May be I am too logical for these plots, as I have never been able to tolerate this stupid, absurd and sadistic logic that if some person has unfortunately got a painful or an abusive past, that could be used as a justification (from the male protagonist's perspective) to portray the same person abusing someone else !!! For me, it simply is demonstrating strength against a person whom the former considers weak and this is being glorified again and again on Indian TV. And the worst part is that each and every time the girl actually forgets, forgives, falls in love and ends up with the same guy for good !!! Self-esteem or self-respect of the girl seems to become an alien from some unknown galaxy !!! What I am literally unable to understand why the creatives on Indian TV are so obsessed with this particular concept for so many years in the name of love-story 😔 !!!

In future, may be Lakhan is portrayed as not entirely being negative, the creatives may show some dukhbhari ateet dastaan for Lakhan as well to justify why Lakhan is as he is, "redeem" him somehow and may be they as well can force Poonam to follow her predecessors on Indian TV, i.e., forgetting Lakhan's sadistic tortures, forgiving him happily, falling in love with him and ending up with him for good !!! But personally for me, that would simply be an insult to a girl's self-respect since what he has executed can't be either forgotten or forgiven, love is a distant dream altogether. I really wish that this time the creatives do come up with something real indigenous.

Sohini, I was thinking about a post regarding the trio, as you did two weeks back. Lots of evolution character-wise since then. Why don't you start this relay race 😉, as I would love to read your take on this.

Surely, I would..no problem. My problem is why could not they not put an equally strong and positive character if they had to make Lakhan a villain. Cause Priyom as a competitor to Lakhan is what I cannot digest. Poonam wants a simple life for herself, away from this violence. Even if she ends up with Priyom, what garuntee of a simple life she will get from him, I do not know. I personally feel, that maybe Poonam cannot change the situation and environment around her, but she has to fight for herself to bring about any change at all. Complain to hum sab karte hai, but there are only two options- either accept it or change it. How long will Poonam stay near the keechar and expect it to clean up on its own. If she wants to live a life she desires, she has to get down and dirty and clean up the dirt herself.

we are living in this world, studying, reading...i love history.so if we are going thru history, you will learn only about fighters, who fight to change, who sacrifice their life to change something. From the great ASOKA to akbar to all great ruler, do they have normal life.. did askoka is saint from birth, he redeem himself after Kalinga bloodshed and then he realize his mistake and he repents for that..and people called him GREAT..should he deserve that ..ofcourse he deserve coz its not easy to do

'paschyatap'. ONLY strong people can accept their mistake and can redeem themselves and remembered as great..
so many personalities in our history, we remember only those who fights for right..AKBAR the great.. look at his past..is he born saint but he makes himself by his experience.. Even valmiki ji who became saint and wrote RAMAYANA.hez also a decoit once..

the hero like shlok, arnav and all grey shaded.. did their heroine loves the changed hero..then why they love them coz its not easy to change your personalities but their effort changed him in good..they did effort to change them and they support this change...poonam can live a peaceful life like every girl want..but she is special..coz she can clean this dirt.. and we will remember her..why coz she made impossible possible..
and its saying 'Paschytap' se bdi koi sja nhi and "maafi" se bdi koi power nhi.. and only STRONG people can forgive..and every saint has a past and who makes their weak point their strength whatever the reason, vo hi history bnate hai..so gain without pain..and every dark night comes with a more bright sunrise.. and kamal hmesha kichad m khilta hai and people appreciate those, remember those who fight for change or who change themselves.. thats why most of story and heroes shown like this that you can change.. nothing is impossible if you fight with your courage

and here, the three person who are on montage. why they are there, coz its story of them who fights with their weak points and makes them strong and face the storm which coming towards them..

and sometime when i want to see normal happy story. thn YRKKH is best..coz every relation is shown so perfectly there😆

I agree with you Sohini. As the creatives are portraying Lakhan in such a negative manner, they may well have got somebody equally white (w.r.t. respecting women) pitted against him; instead of Priyom who is equally disrespectful w.r.t. women (except for the ones in his own house), but in an altogether different manner. May be, they want to portray a so-called dark "triangle" (????), where both the guys are grey shaded.

Poonam has to grow a vertebra and stand on her own feet, there is no other way. Otherwise she is insulting her self-respect, her femininity. She can't just go on enduring all the bullshit from her parents and Lakhan. She can't secretly wish and expect that her man friday would always jump in and somehow save the day for her. It's simply stupid and illogical !!! Anyways, he would be having a lot more important businesses to handle when he becomes the king !!! So it would be impossible for him to be "Always at your service" for Poonam. Good that she is progressing in that direction.

As I have already mentioned, I really wish that the creatives introduce a third guy - who is educated and equally strong character as Phulan Thakur; pit him against PT himself (PT is almost running a parallel administration in the region, which is not quite acceptable.), may be PT understanding his worth and etc. etc. I know it's not going to happen !!!!

@meenu, I would never be able to forget in case a guy behaves in this manner. May be may be, as "time heals everything", I can forgive him in distant future, but would never ever even imagine a reconciliation 😉.

priyom will be the next Raja of begusarai, so he will change and won't remain sleeping and dancing with girls. What I feel about priyom that he might be the most imperfect guy but for Poonam he will be the perfect guy.He reads her mind, fullfills all her wishes, I feel Poonam can straighten him and most importantly she is willing enough to straighten him while her relation with Lakhan is nothing but a burden. She wants space and freedom while with priyom she feels free. Priyom isn't perfect but she finds him perfect. When there is liking, one takes initiative but when there is no liking it'd dead. I find her dead with Lakhan.
