Well this has been 3 weeks of the show, and I was expecting Bindiya's character to substantiate a little bit by now.. But I must say I am pretty shocked as how Bindiya just went and slept with Mithilesh Babu without a blink of her eyelashes 😃 Progress of the character, eh, I could rather call it a big downfall from my expectation as I thought Bindiya is going to be a grey character but definitely not a money-blinded woman whom I can easily call negative character 😛
Anyways, I thought now it might be the time to make a humble request to the Creatives of the show regarding Bindiya's characterization down the lines :
1. It's been more than 3 weeks and so far we have seen only one shade of Bindiya - Money-loving woman.. As we assumed and it was conveyed to us that it's a character with many shades, humble request to show at least 2/3 of them 😳
2. Please don't make her a regular wh*** who sleeps around with anyone and everyone.. Nachaniya - was what we thought her character is, however, as an art-lover I would be glad to see my favorite actress portraying a hooker as well 😃 But the fact is, nachaniyas/hookers can have the right to choose as well 😊 Please grow her some brain and ability to judge and choose whom to sleep with and whom not.. Mithilesh-incident was shocking but understandable as she is portrayed as a character who would do anything for money and the door to Kuber just opened in fronta her through the 'zariya' of Mithilesh.. But I would say I am definitely not looking forward to some similar incidents in near future😊
3. Down the line as the story unfolds, there are few tracks which I would want to see on Bindiya (portrayed by Shweta), and not just a character who would go to any extent to earn few extra bucks.. Below are the tracks -
- Realization of what a fool she is to think SHE is using them, whereas in reality she is the one being used, physically ..
- Her growing up some judgement and choose wisely whom she wants to trade her body with, be it out of love or out of revenge..
- Her learning to say NO upon realizing where her place is in the Thakur Viraadri..
As a matter of fact, characters like Bindiya can have too many emotions to reveal - self-esteem, pride, over-confidence, betrayal, sense of deprive of having a normal family life like others, jealousy, awareness of her rights... Complexities at its best.. Looking forward to see at least few of them to be unveiled in coming episodes.. 😊
Last but not the least, great acting by ST with proper dialect 😳👏 I am hoping the reason she chose the show is not just because the role is SIGNIFICANT which even the main vamps of the show can be, but the role of Bindiya must be a SUBSTANTIAL one 😳
