boy too ugly....

Not only her teeth.,..but her large forehead..I mean she is okay for side roles..but the fact that she is the main lead..puts me off..same goes for the boy...I can't imagine myself watching this show with such lead actors Confused😆

In the promo pics, she looked very homely (which means unattractive) but she did look better in the episode. Like we discussed in the Message of the Show thread, her parents look too young to be grandparents, which is what they'd be if either her older sister, or she herself later, had kids. They attempted to make her father look older by giving him one of those thick framed, old fashioned glasses, but it didn't work.

I liked the heroine's friend - the one in white & red: she looked like she could be a good lead, and a potential show stealer. As far as the show goes, might have been a better idea to let Sarika study and let this friend marry Jai, but then again, Sarika has her pesky Dadi (don't you love how grandmas in all serials are extremely hale & hearty and intimidating even after their grandchildren are grown up and old enough to marry?) while that friend (didn't catch her name) apparently has a family that wants her to be a doctor. Maybe Sarika & this friend can switch families, so that that friend's parents can enjoy Sarika becoming a great doc, while her own Dadi can give her friend in marriage and the friend herself loves every moment of it. 😈😆

I can't find a single positive about the show. I watched Thursday's episode, where they had both families play Ringa ringa Rosie around the burning Holika effigies, and it just looked.... 🥱🥱🥱 Ankit Arora is a big hitter who played Lakshman in the Ramayan and Vikrant in Jyoti, and he has quite a side role here, when he ought to be one of the leads. And there are so many serials that have recently ended or are ending - they couldn't pick attractive people from there? There was Jyoti, another Imagine TV program also based in Rajasthan, from which Ankit came.

So the story is boring, the cast is ordinary (the hero's mom is pretty repulsive) and the message is terrible - that regardless of a girl's ambitions, she must first prove that she can be a good domestic person, get married and then do anything else only after satisfying her bahu duties. If that's the message of this show, I hope it doesn't last any longer than ZkJ or some of the reality shows.

I agree...non-charismatic leads...with the non-leads looking better than the leads. Even the friends gain more attention than them. Nausheen looks weird...the role of a middle aged Marwari lady doesnt suit her at all. The story is too slow moving. I dont see anything that will get me back to watching this show.

Last episode I saw was Friday, and ok, there, Jai was under the influence of bhang. But Monday, after he recovered, the episode was about him playing Krishna and seranading his mom? It's not so much about how the leads look, as opposed to how inanely they are behaving. This guy is a total loser, but we're supposed to root for his jodi w/ that serious girl? 🤢 I really feel sorry for what she is headed for.

I don't get Imagine TV, so I watch any programs I'm interested in after downloading it. I normally watch GkD & BAVD, since my own fav RS has ended. By the time I'm done watching GkD, BAVD is up and ready for download, so that's what I do. BBGC & LD get a pass.
