Kanchan is shocked to know that Veeru and Shamoli are in love with each other. She realizes that she has grossly misunderstood everything. Veeru's mother tells her that she will talk to Veeru but Kanchan tells her not to as they were at fault since they misunderstood everything. At the Mehra house Kunal is very drunk and in a drunken state confesses his feelings to Lekha thinking its Shamoli. Lekha realizes that he is talking about some one else and leaves from there. Shamoli and Veeru have a teasing moment in their house where Shamoli fakes anger towards Veeru for announcing their engagement. Kunal misses his flight and comes down in a drunk and disheveled state. He is looking around for Shamoli but can't find her. This irritates him further and he leaves for Delhi. Veeru and Shamoli both want to talk to Kunal about their engagement but are unable to do so. There are some hit and miss chances between Kunal and Shamoli and Veeru later tries talking to Kunal but stops on realizing that Kunal is upset. Kunal is thoughtful as he reaches the airport. There Shamoli wants to meet Veeru in the evening and leaves for meeting him. Shamoli buys a ring for Veeru and is about to make him wear the ring in the evening when Veeru's phone rings. She picks up the phone and its Kunal telling her to come home. Shamoli leaves everything and is unable to make Veeru wear the ring. When she reaches home, Kunal is at home drunk and in a drunken state asks her why she has made him change. Then he proposes to her leaving her shocked
