I think with Thakuma, it was like Kaka aur Kaki toh gaye blast me isliye she wanted another male figure in the house. Churchur mostly jumped at the opportunity to be a hero figure and abhi wo hi sab chalata hoga.. if I remember, Kaka utne in sab mamlo me nahi padte the.. he even let Ani escape with Bondita.

For Thakuma, Churchur is like the perfect henchman. She thinks she has the upper hand but I don't think this guy has forgotten how she got him married to Tupur.
