Wonderful postsmiley32 I completely agree with you. I consider myself lucky to have come across this show. It is so different from the other Saas-Bahu or romance drama shows. Right from getting a little girl married to an old man, to Sati, to handling her bed wetting problem to getting sold to the Brothel. These are hard hitting and uncomfortable subjects which need to be addressed. It's not easy to show things like these in days where everything is about TRPs and entertainment. Kudos to the makers and the actors who are doing a wonderful job.

@underlined This is So True.

🤗❤️thank you

i also have genuine respect for the makers of this show.

the efforts they put in is unbelievable.

they have a concept and message which they want to deliver.

for that they have casted brilliant actors. they didn't fear casting two new faces as lead. and both of them are outstanding actors. they're living the characters. i sometimes feel itv actors are much better than...

from dialogue to background music to the set everything is thoughtfully designed.

and the title track rishta tera mera, i just don't have words to describe it, it needs a appreciation thread of it's own.

love ❤️ Krishna

how are you?

you were on a break?

you are right, we should not be discouraged rather take these things in mind to motivate us.

we are getting facilities which some women can't even think of. when we get a chance we should do something for them.

i am grateful to Almighty for the life i got. where I don't have to fight to get my basic rights.

Exactly munia👍🏼amidst all these we have to keep going positively to motivate us.....

And can keep fighting for more justice😊

I'm less active nowdays due to my exam preparations and busy schedule....but still will come during the episode telecast😆

Very true.

Things have barely changed since then. In fact, criminals have grown smarter and evasive over time. The only difference is back then people would keep quite, now, people know its a crime and common man stands against it.

I really like that this show is unlike other saas-bahu drama and is focusing on social taboos and evils. Even in today's day and age we hear things like 'aurato ke kaam' and superstitious beliefs that claim many lives every year.

Prostitution and human trafficking is one of the most wide spread and money making criminal activity. And the happenings in the serial does not even show a fraction of what occurs inside such places. The girls are never treated with rasgullas when they are brought there.

I am happy to see an ITV serial address such taboos and societal issues without extra masala.

Agree with you Munia. Still women suffer. Though this show was based on 100 years ago.

Like Krish said now we can dream and be our voice but not those days.

Regarding people do not like to see the reality. It's mainly because people are dealing with lot of problems and negativity around them. They watch shows for entertainment and they don't like to torture themselves with those. Like everything has two sides that argument has two sides.

Yes, in reality this would have been worse for women in that era.

in this modern times too women are disregarded in many aspects but now we know it's not our fault, we know our rights and we know how to get it on our own.

but back then it was only people like anirudh who fought for us. he is one of those few men who were different from the typical men of their times.

if bondita is a free bird then it was her father who taught her to fly and when he died and people broke her wings, it was anirudh only who gave her new wings and he will teach her to fly so high that no one can ever catch her or put her behind a cage❤️

yes this show is praise worthy and deserve much more appreciation ❤️

you are right kate. people have so many things going on in life they want to watch something which will uplift their mood.

i understand that because to be honest i too prefer comedy over tragedy. so i was talking about all of us. but my point was more towards those people who complain about this show (on social media). then again it's their point of view so i don't criticise that. i feel itv audience is changing their taste but not up to mark 😆

and BB is a complete package but it has it's ups and downs. alao it's fetching good numbers which shows people are watching it. i hope more and more people watch it, it deserves more love ❤️

@underlined This. I wish there was a thread dedicated to the Rishta Tera Mera tracks with the lyrics, English translations and the videos. Wouldn't it be amazing?❤️
