"All the best Baudi." Batuk wished Bondita luck for her results. Bondita nodded her head and thanked him before leaving for college. All were waiting for her in the living room, especially someone in the corner, her Pati Babu. The car stopped in front of the haveli and Batuk couldn't help but run to the door. He was the excited of all because he had seen his Baudi work so hard for this day. Everyone could see her coming and the smile on her face said it all. Batuk had a questioning look on his face to which she just nodded. She went directly to Kaka and touched his feet. "Main first aa gayi Kaka sasurji." She said. Tears very much visible in her eyes and so was in Kaka's. Though, when Aniruddh wanted to educate her, he was the first one to oppose it but with time he understood that his Bahu's heart lied in books like her husband. And today, he was the proud man to have her as his daughter-in-law. He lifted his hand and kept it on her head, blessing her of more success in life. She looked at her Pati Babu and went to him. "Shayad ab bhi iss haveli pe ek daagh hoon but use dhone ki bahut koshish kar rahi hoon. Shotti." She said and smiled at him. "Baudi chalo kuch dena hai mujhe tumko." Batuk pulled her towards the kitchen while Aniruddh kept on looking at her. "Woh aaj bhi kuch nahi bhooli." Kaka said while he also looked towards Bondita and Batuk who were giggling and talking and fighting while proceeding towards the kitchen. "Woh Bondita hai. Woh kuch bhooti thodi hai." Aniruddh said and had a chuckle to suppress his pain and more than that, his regret and went to his study.
