After Addite Shirwaikar, it is Himanshi Choudhary's turn to get replaced on Zee's Dulhann. Additie and Himanshi play Sindoora's sisters. Additi was replaced by Shweta Dadhich and now Himanshi will be replaced by none other than her on-screen husband Harsh Vashisht's real wife Ritu Vasishta.
A source from the production house informs, "Harsh who essays the character of Rajeev and was murdered earlier by Sindoora will be brought back. He was killed because he helped Divya and Amar to get married against Sindoora's wish. The body that was cremated was beyond recognition."
"After Additi, it is Himanshi who will be replaced in the show by Harsh's real wife Ritu. So Dulhann is expected to turn into a family affair,"adds our source.
Harsh explains, "Today is my first day of shooting and I really don't know about the track. Talks with my wife Ritu are still on and remain to be finalised. My re-entry will be aired on 18th or 21st July."
Ritu who is looking forward to working opposite her husband says, "Nothing has been confirmed as yet but I am really excited with the idea of working with my husband. I have always wanted to work with Shakuntala, (production house of Dulhann). We have tried to work together earlier but things didn't work out because of date problems."
"Himanshi is a very dear friend who also suggested that I step in her character Mahua. She is going to America for three months for a music and dance workshop. One good thing is that I will get to work not just with my husband but also with my brother-in-law Puneet Vasishta, who palys Chandra's husband on the show", concludes Ritu.
As they say, it's all in the family.
