Mahua and Chandra

Mahua is the only person who saw Sindura returning drenched on the day SV died and knows for a fact that she lied blatantly to the inspector that she was at home all the time.

Mahua knows for a fact that Rajeev distrusted Sindura totally . Rajeev even took the step of switching their child to shield him from Sindura and told Mahua that .

Mahua uneasily ran to stop Divya telling Sindura that she had flashes , as somewhere she knew instinctively what her sister is capable of .

Mahua herself wanted to run away in the pregnancy from her sister .

Chandra knows even more than Mahua what Sindura exactly does and how she plays the game . She has been a witness to many murders....the journalist , the gunda , the kidnapping of Aniket .....everything .

Both the sisters know that it was Rajeev who fixed the marraige on 26th.

Chandra had caught Rajeev redhanded listening to their plans and Sindura had openly told her that Rajeev who is a thorn in her foot needs to be curbed .

And yet , when Rajeev dies exactly on the 26th....same day that AD marry , both sisters dont jump to the conclusion that of course Sindura has killed him . This when Divya tells them that Rajeev insisted on the marraige ....both know he had taken the initiative to fix the marraige on that day .

Mahua's slipping back into her old negative traits once the influence of her decent husband vanishes is surprising . I always felt she didnt desrve Rajeev , who was far far on a higher level for her . Sindura too didnt desrve Aniket who was too decent for her cheap wickedness. Actually what i feel is the son in laws of the Singh house r too good for the horrid daughters who need a public flogging or sumthing .😆 They truly desrve a Harsh .

Mahua btw looks hot in the white sleeveless , white sari ....widow attire with no ear rings and hair let down . A hot widow .😉

i agree with you. the singh sisters truly deserve a husband like harsh. the point is sindoora have everyone's brain. no one actually think about these observations.

yes i agree. either that or they just need time to get over the death. maybe mahua will be of some help for AD. but it also seems shes turn into old mahua[blonde] and cant think straight. for all we know without rajeev, mahua wouldnt have been this 'nice' of a person, na?

totally agree mahua doesn't deserve rajeev, kartik was the right husband for her, wish him and harsh had stay on to give sindoora a hard time

you know..i had written similar points about mahua in another post (great minds think alike 😉 ) which is why i find it intolerable to see Mahua being mean to Divya again. people don't suddenly erase the last 23 years of their lives and revert back to their old persona. Mahua DID become a good character. She WAS a motherly-figure to Divya since she came from England. Mahua lovedd Vidya at the time she was killed. And Mahua DOES know that Sin is predicted to die at the hands of her son. She knows this all!!!

Actually , I can believe this change tulli . She never was a good character . Somehow , i cannot forgive the fact that she and Chandra were so indifferent to Sagar when he was mentally handicapped . They were selfish and totally involved with their own lives . They cruelly sniggered at their handicapped brother's illiterate wife instead of taking her under their wing and grooming her .And they were cruelly indifferent to the brother himself . I mean they never ever showed an iota of sisterly affection for him .
Look at the developments later . Rajeev was so good , so decent that it was impossible for Mahua to remain that way ....yet , she chose to look the other way where her horrible sister was concerned and advised Rajeev the same . Chandra , on the other hand , blatantly joined Sindura in her crimes. When Samrat beat Amar in the mandap , she was quiet ....when Amar tried to slap him she stopped him and her arrogance was really stunning . So many bad things that Samrat had done had been highlighted yet she warned Amar how dare u hit my son....a son of this house . The totally biased , class distinction attitude . And yet , Rajeev 's attitude was so diffrent ....he sided with what was right rather than these stupid things . Just see the diffrence .
Vidya helped her so much personally....yet she chose to stay out of it when Vidya was kicked out of the house . That has always been her selfish policy ....staying out of it and looking the other way , not really bothering to check if it is right or wrong like Rajeev . Is she , in her grief , dwelling on Rajeev's words ? No....she dwells on Sindura's words . Well , she is a responsible adult now and its time for her to take sum responsibility .
The only grey spot in her character is her love for Samrat inspite of now knowing he isnt her blood . Im not surprised the 23 years erased so quickly ....her basic nature hadnt really changed .

and..now that i think of it..i am disliking mahua again (after so long.) ok, now i can watch the mahua-meanness scenes and give her proper gaali's now without question or guilt. 😆 sweet! thanks man.

It seems so simple na? The evidence is right in front of them yet they refuse to see it. It doesn't seem logical.

Mahua has always been ungrateful towards Vidya. How many times did Vidya help and emotionally support her? But when V needed the help, Mahua ALWAYS doubted her and it never made sense to me. Vidya was the one who convinced everyone that R-M should marry! Vidya was the one who gave Mahua confidence when her own sister Chandra tried to ruin her physical appearance. Even Divya treats her with nothing but respect!

Well, the theory is that sin is using mahua's fear for her son's life to bring her over to the dark side (like Darth Vader in Star Wars, no? he he) but that doesnt compute to me cause even Mahua knows that Amar's greatest enemy is Sindoora. So how...??

tulli ....more than the fearing for her son thing , it is the fear that she has for her sister that is unconsciously making her behave this way as she does not have Rajeev's mental strength .

Both the sisters ....Chandra and Mahua ...grew up as Sindura's shadows . They were fascinated and frightened of their tyrannical sister , who always managed to get her own way . Their Di's dominant personality totally subjugated their own , and they grew up , conditioned to remaining in the shadows and letting their Di make decisions for them....just like gangsters dominate builders by saying it is ' protection money ' .....Sindura took the reins of decision making for those two in her hands saying she was looking out for their best as she loved them . Fascinated by her and scared of her they agreed , which suited Sindura just fine . They always felt rather relieved that someone was looking after their interests ....since they both were selfish weak minded girls , content to remain in their dominating sister's shadows .
Popular opinion in the forum then was Rajeev was a coward coz he stammered in front of Sindura . But if u look closely , Rajeev had tremendous mental strength . He did not choose to look the other way and survive ......he cud easily have done that ....look at Chacha Chachi arent they surviving ? He chose instead to face facts and accept responsibility and to do wat is right inspite of knowing how dangerous Sindura is and wat may happen to him . Look at the way he disguised his pain and sent Divya to her marraige . That shows mental strength of a very high quality .
Not having her husband's mental strenght and now , even his physical support or influence , weak minded Mahua chooses unconsciously the easy way out ....to slip into the shadows and not question very pertinent facts as
she already knows the answers and does not have the himmat to go against her Di like Rajeev had . In short , she goes into denial .
