yeah it is hard to believe why....the show makes absolutely no sense right now...you could argue that Sharad gained popularity after participating in Yeh hai Jalwa and got a huge audience for the show....but then Hussain was in it too and I do not see changes in kk's trps....maybe because Hussain was already recognized but the timing of kk makes it hard for the trps to increase...but dulhann on the other hand was popular from the begining and was at a watchable time, when sharad who was more like "discovered" due to yeh hai jalwa caused the fan following to increase even more taking it to the #1 place...

YHJ has nothing to do with Dulhans trps. Even when the storyline isn't great, it does well because of its loyal audience. It has been the No.1 Zee show for a long while, you can't expect it to dip just like that. If YHJ has a trp of 1, then Dulhan has 3.5-4.0....! So it won't effect the trps of Dulhan whatsoever.

oh come on......loyal audience?? beech mein...all the trps had fallen when bindya thing came and that was when we were saying that when A-D will get together trps will rise...even a loyal audience can get fed up if the story and the atmosphere turns sour.....it happened before....I am not saying YHJ has definately affected the trps I just do not understand why even though Dulhann is not at its best right now why the trps are so great....I am guessing probably becoz A-D are together and that makes people wanna watch in the excitement of getting a lovey dovey A-D scene...??

The trps hadn't fallen that much during the irritating Bindiya phase. Yes they were falling but it was still No.1 across all channels. Do you know when it became No.3? The week after AD seperated. At the same time not every indian viewer looks for romance, sometimes they just watch it because they cannot not watch it. Right now the storyline is crappy and its No.3 overall across all indian channels because mums,daadis and aunties are all so involved in the serial and the characters. Dulhann is still one of the most watched serial because of its loyal audience. Indian serials are like addictive drugs to these women...!

When I mean Bindya phase I mean when Divya says Amar's aukad is low and comes to Delhi....what A-D separation are you talking about.... At the same time not every indian viewer looks for romance, sometimes they just watch it because they cannot not watch it. Every indian viewer does look for love.....but during separation since the love factor has decreased would you not watch the show?? Yeh I meant that phase as well...when Divya left Beneras the show became No.3! As much as I love SV/AD, I have always believed that the content is above any character. So yes maybe as of now it is No.3 despite of the stupid storyline because AD are together. The audience is always curious to know what is happening their lives. The storyline needs a big fat push and I'm sure it will be No.1 again! I'm waiting for that day.

Actually we are....what I am saying is that these viewers all of us are looking for love in the show...so when A-D are apart no matter how less of the screen Sindoora occupies the trps drop as we cannot expect to see A-D scenes as they are not together but even if the storyline is crappy if A-D are together then we can expect to see at least one or more cute A-D love scene amongst the madness and hence we watch with the hope that we can bear Sindoora's ughhhh attitude throughout for that one cute jhalak of A-D romancing...which is why to see that jhalak the trps still are up....
