Sharad Malhotra, who plays Amar in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, had a knee injury while rehearsing for his reality show, Yeh Hain Jalwa. But while shooting for Dulhann he fell down and now is seriously injured.
The supervising producer of the show Rajan told us, "It was not a stunt scene. In the scene Amar is thrown out of his house. He was to be pushed out of the door and had to fall on the floor. But I think he was pushed with a bit too much force and could not get up."
Rajan added, "We immediately called doctors on the sets who applied pain relief spray and gave him an injection. In fact they advised him to take a complete bed rest. The injury was not because of this scene; he has hurt himself during his reality show."
The production house gave Sharad a helping hand. "We offered him some breaks in between the shoot and somehow we managed to finish the scene. He has not taken bed rest as such and is continuously shooting for the show. We give him some concession and in between the scenes after every two hours he takes a break. He is recovering well."
The scene where Sharad fell down was telecast last week. But he will not be able to perform at the grand finale of his reality show in which he has been eliminated.
