Kamya excited over Dulhann leap
Kamya Punjabi, who plays Sindoora in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, is very excited about the leap which is going to take place in the show soon more so because her character Sindoora is the only one not to have a reincarnation.
Kamya, who thinks Sindoora is the most important character in the show, says, "The leap is a major twist and since my character will not be reincarnated, they are chalking out a different plan for me."

She adds, "My appearance is definitely going to change. I will not be glamorous, and may have gray hair since I will grow old. However I am ready for it. Nobody has seen this kind of a story before on TV where the vamp actually wins over the truth."
Denying any OSO influence, she claims, "We thought about this twist much before OSO. When I, Divyanka and Sharad were discussing this, even the promos of the movie were not on. So when I saw OSO, my reaction was like 'Oh My God. But I am confident that it won't matter."
Kamya is also eager to know how her fans will react. "I hope I manage to get a good response. Last time, I cancelled my trip to Benares on coming to know of the fan reaction. I was not required for any scene but I wanted to go with the unit and have some fun. But a co-star told me that the local people were asking them – where is that harami, chudail? Dulhann is big in towns like Benares."
The actress agrees that her character is likely to be compared to Simi Garewal from Karz though she feels that the two are quite dissimilar. "My character was never glamorous like hers. She will remain simple. Even the make up and costumes will be like before. Secondly, in the film, Simiji was married to the hero while I am playing the sister of the main lead."
In Dulhann's last episode, both Vidya and Sharad died. The leap is expected to place by end of this month.
This is the only show Kamya is doing presently. Ironically, she quit Woh Rahnewali Mehlon Ki because she did not want to play an aged character.
