Chances of Divyanka doing a KJ Movie

Hey Guys,

For those of you that were following NDTV imagines Say Shava Shava, Which featured Our Divyanka, would have noticed how Karan Johar was all praises about Divyanka (her performance, hard work and beauty, specially her smile 😳).

So i just wanted to know what you guys think are the chances of Karan asking Divya to do one of his films.

To be frank, he will only take people in his friendship circle. He has a fixed starcast most of the time...its difficult to get in to that. 😛

Yeh agreed. And the bigger the star the better chances hey ?😉. But then again our Divs is no small star now is she? 😃

Karan Johar will definitely give Divya and Sharad a break! If he does not than there are so many other brilliant directors/producers, eg. Mani Ratname Subhash Ghai - will definitely definitely see the potentials in these two telly stars who are the most hottest favaourite telly stars right now!


I for one will definitely like to see both Sharad and Divyanka together in the big screen and I am sure all their fans will also like that!

Much as I like Prachi DEsai, I think Divyanka is a much more brilliant actress than her. Prachi has the strong support of Ekta but the Producers and Directors of Dulhan might now venture into big screen after their success with Dulhan, who knows!

Mani Ratnam, Sir what are you waiting for, please give these two young stars a break into the BIG SCREEN!

I really don't know if KJ would cast her as the only heroine but maybe if he makes a film with 2 heroines, D can be one of them... I really wish that happens, so I'd say there r fair chances... 😃

Hey rosh, been good but a bit busy so im on and off line. 😊

Anyways, much as i'd like to see both divs and sharad on the big screen together, this is the first time i wouldn't mind seeing her with someone other than sharad.

Dont get me wrong guys, what i mean to say is that after watching Shava shava and divyanka's performance with apurva. i thought they looked really cute together. Im not really an Apurva fan (acting not singing, he sings real good) but i thought he looked sooooooo cute with divs. 😳

defintely! but now a days think that telly stars have jus about the same respect bollywood stars do. Infact, tellywood stars have been gettin popular by the day.

Karan Johar will win over my respect the day he casts someone as deserving, beautiful and talented as Divyanka 😉 The whole bollywood industry is sooooo frustrating....they seem to have this 'you scratch my back, I'll scatch your back' attitude and lets not even mention the nepotism So in short I would fall over from absolute shock KJ gives D a movie 😆 I feel as a director he should afford those who are talented (like SD) an opportunity to do a movie because they deserve it 😛

Very well said 👏 and i totally agree about the nepotism business. But it would really be something if she did a movie with a big banner.

One other thing that just came in to my mind is that sometimes what happens is that actors do really well on the small screen but when they do movies they dont do so well. EG: Iqbal Khan, Anita Hasnandani (anjali from kavyanjali) and you must admit that their popularity on the small screen is too much to handle. 😉. But i wish Divyanka all the best if she so wishes to embark upon Bollyland and hope her popularity just increases even more. 😛
